You babies btch and moan every time you dont get your way. First you try to do away with transfers. Greedy btches. Then if thats not enough you take away the daypass?! Then you try to use the Phils and the Eagles to scare up an even sweeter deal than you already have. Way to take pride in your city you fkin bullies. Now you strike in the dead of night like the puzzies you are. FK you. I hope you get nothing. The city REALLY needs to STEP UP and get you under control or start a new public transit run by people who actually APPRECIATE the sweet deal you have going on. Fk SEPTA. Strike all you want. I'd rather walk than fund you lazy creeps. Get a REAL job.

Those executives are probably the greediest, but they are all overpaid IMHO

If the drivers want more money, and the execs want to raise fairs, then SEPTA should increase the quality of their service. This is downright coercion what they doing now. Where I come from we EARN our raises with hard work and professional behavior.

Agree, the service, the stations & the filth, the lack of standards and you want more. Don't come back maybe SEPTA will be taken over by people who know how to run a mass transit system form outside PA. There is very little good to say about SEPTA. You want increases but, offer less to the people that ride SEPTA, dirty buses, unsafe suway stations, no enforcement of bad behavior on any of the transit systems SEPTA offers and on top of it all the SEPTA workers are rude and ignorant most of the time. There are no standards to even try to make the system better. The bus drivers just drive and watch the bad behavior occur and are part of all the problem. The workers of SEPTA treat SEPTA like crap, they have no pride in their company SEPTA and the bad behavior tranfers to the people that ride SEPTA. Time for SEPTA to be taken over the city cannot not handle running septa they can barely run the city or keep the city clean and safe but, only expect more in taxes. So, it is all part of the Philadelphia experience of bad behavior and lack of pride.

If Septa's drivers think they can do better than the $52000 they are currently making - have them quit and find another job. Plenty of people would drive a bus for $52000! Remember we are in a recession. Quit your moaning and stay in work and get on your knees at the end of the day and thank your God for the opportunity! Or fire them all, and hire a brand new work force.

Could not agree more when you have many people in this city working for $8.00 an hour, no health benefits and trying to support a family or seniors living on less than $12,000.00 a year only to be treated rude by many of the SEPTA employees. Check out the census dempographics there are large groups of people living many areas of this city on half that amount of a SEPTA worker or less and SEPTA can't even give the basic worker that relys on SEPTA reasonable cost, clean and safe transportation.

I have decided that, no matter what, as long as this strike lasts; when it is finally settled; I will not ride a SEPTA vehicle for at least 10X the length of this strike. Even if that means walking, biking, or carpooling. I refuse to get hit in the crossfire between management and union. Is anyone out there with me?

The governor meant buisness he was going to take the 7M off the table by Monday if they did not take a deal.I thought the union leader could not be bought.Money talks!
First, generally speaking SEPTA employees did not want to strike, they wanted talks to continue while they worked.
It was the big shots calling the shots who was going to give in the company or the employees. They have a good contract for the next 5 years but they don't want the Obama healthcare plan they are too good for that, but yet the majority of it's employees are black and voted for a Obama.
Make up your mind, you cannot have it both ways
Shame on septa for striking during a time when jobs are so rare anyone would loved to have any one of those jobs.Bring some competition for their asses and they will straighten themselves out.
They are too good for Obama healthcare, did you see their pension plan..see if any of us get treated in this manor..Good Luck..if you can't hold the septa riders as hostages than you are out of luck.
Also, they need to get rid of the dead wood and if Septa employees want a big bonus next time, get it from the Phillies that is where their loyalty lies.
The minimum wage worker pays for their healthcare/salary/dental/free septa rides and everything else.Septa emoployees need to show more respect to them not the Phillies
