I like the way he keeps his constituents informed. He has voted the way I thought he should at least 95% of the time.

Jeff Gregory is even further to the right than McHenry. He admitted to the Statesville Record & Landmark that he registered as a Democrat, and won their primary against weak opposition, just so that he could avoid losing a GOP primary to McHenry.

I don't care for either option in this race, so I'm leaving it blank since I don't have a write-in option. My ballot will still count for the other elections.

As a longtime, loyal Democrat, I will vote for McHenry. Gregory is a the poorest excuse for a candidate we've had in a LONG time.

Patrick McHenry is a liar and does not care about the people of North Carolina.

I can't believe the American people have let our government go this far. How much more can the American people take from the people that are suppose to be taking care of the people. I wish the hell it was the presidential election this year.

I'm most likely voting for Gregory, mostly because I'm still bitter about how McHenry treated disabled Navy hero Daniel Johnson in the last election.

And Big County, not only have I read those documents, I even know things like who James Iredell was. Believe it or not, the Founders rarely agreed on anything in their time. To say that they would all vote a certain way today is absurd.

I do not agree with anything McHenry believes in, but atleast he represents us with dignity and his views may be old-fashioned but nowhere near as extreme as Gregory who is more of a conservative than McHenry is. Gregory is an extremist, and Democrat or not, Gregory is not the better choice.

The Bush Administration is HUGELY responsible for the Amendments being shredded as they have been. It has been YEARS that corporations have been changing our amendments slowly to suit their agenda. Corporations OWN America. They now have more rights than WE THE PEOPLE thanks to Bush Administration Supreme Court Officials. Get involved with real information NOT corporate media like FOX news, etc. Geez, people. Europe and Canada know more about what's really going on with us than we do!!!
