Please whatever you do; DO NOT board your pets at this facility. The employees lie and the owner is extremely rude. I believe only minimal care was given to my animals. I boarded my two dogs with my cousins two dogs in the same run. When I dropped the dogs off, I instructed the employee that one of the dogs is a "food hog" and will need to be separated from the other dogs at feeding time. He said that they could accomodate that. Since I was going to be gone for a week, I called 3 days later to check on the animals and the employee I spoke to said everything was fine and they were adjusting well. A week passes and when I go to pick up my dogs the owner informs me that they had to put the "food hog" in a separate run. It was just too difficult to separate him at feeding time.(even though I'm paying him nearly $500 for 4 dogs and I also boarded 2 cats)I told him that I'm disappointed that I did not receive a phone call informing me of their decision to do this. The owner said very rudely "well we don't have to call." So the owner charged me for putting one of my dogs in a separate run for 7 days (the entire stay) There is no way that my dog should have been separated on the first day as they were already fed and when I called 3 days later the employee made no mention of separating them. So someone is lying. The owner escalates the conversation and is yelling at me. I just signed the receipt and paid the full bill because I just wanted to get my animals and get out of there. He yanked the receipt out of my hand the moment I signed it. One of the employess then asked me to come back with him into the kennel to get my dogs because he couldn't get them out of the run. When I saw my dog (that had been separated) he would not come out of the run because the employee was standing there. It wasn't until I positioned myself between my dog and the employee that my dog came to me. My cousins two dogs sat shaking in a corner also afraid to come out. My dog is a little hesitant around strangers at first but will warm up quickly to them; especially, if he is being fed by them. However, after a week my dog was terrified of the male employees. I cannot say for certain that they were mean to my animals but their reactions to the employees lead me to believe they were not nice to my pets. I also noticed that in the runs my dogs did not have any water. When I got home all the animals were very thirsty. The owner couldn't get one of my cats out of a kitty tower because she was growling at him. A sound I have never heard her make. As my cousin and I walked out of the facility, the owner slammed the door behind me. As stated before I do not want to accuse them of mistreatment of my pets but juding by the reactions of my pets it is the only conclusion I can come to. However, I know how the owner treated me and nothing excuses that. The only nice thing I have to say about this place is that my animals were still alive when I picked them up. Please do not give this place your business, as I get sick to my stomach just thinking that I left my beloved pets in their care.

I had a similar experience with this Pet Resort, if you can call it a Resort. The owner is extremely rude and has no respect for the animals or his customers. The groomer (Todd) and office were rank with cigarette smoke. My dogs were also left without water for who knows how long. One dog was constipated and windcrest could not tell me if he even had a BM while he stayed. My dogs received MINIMAL care. The way my dogs acted when the groomer and owner walked to their run makes me think they kick at or maybe kicked them. They were very jumpy and hesitant around them both. I wish I could have set up a nanny cam or give my dogs magic beans so they could talk to me and tell me what happened while they stayed. I will NEVER board with this Pet Care-less facility and I will advise everybody against it. It's interesting to find another person with a similar experience...

I know the groomer you're talking about, he has that horrible mullet and drives that beat up old clunker that smells like cigarettes, just like him.

i took my dog there last year. the owner was a prick. they talk a good game but they dont know much about dogs. the prick owner thinks he's an expert because he showed dogs and the groomer fancies himself a dog whisperer. HA! the only thing mullet man knows is how to smoke a cigarette. my dog was scared of these jokers and stunk when I brought her home, and i paid to get her groomed before hand!

You can choose to believe my story or not but for caring pet owners, I thought I would share my experience with this this place so other people do not have to go through an ordeal like this.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I was searching for a boarder for the holidays for my puppy dog. He was severely abused before I got him. I would never put him in danger of suffering more abuse. I will stay clear of this place. And thanks for the idea about a nanny cam. I saw one that mounts unto the dog collar. I good investment for the well being of my beloved pet.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Gemini

Close relationships sometimes cause problems for you, Gemini, perhaps because the level of intimacy involved makes you feel uncomfortable. Yet this is just what you should concentrate on over the next four weeks; so relax and let your guard down. It's safe to reveal your true self, warts and all. Feel free to let them do the same in return.
