I WAS BORN IN MEMPHIS, BUT WAS RAISED IN RED BAY.
THE TOWN WAS ALRIGHT FOR A SMALL TOWN, THE ONLY THING BAD WAS THAT WHEN YOU WANTED TO GO OUT AND EAT OR ANY ENTERTAINMENT, YOU WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE AT LEAST 1 HR EITHER WAY, TO FLORENCE OR TUPELO FOR THAT. AS FAR AS THE PEOPLE GO THEY WAS ALRIGHT, JUST NOSY, AS A TEENAGER I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FUN WITHOUT MY PARENTS FINDING OUT ABOUT IT BEFORE I GOT HOME. i GOT THE HECK OUT OF THERE JUST AS SOON AS I COULD, AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. I NOW RESIDE IN A SMALL TOWN IN TENN,NOT FAR FROM MY HOMETOWN. IT'S A NICE TOWN TO VISIT MY REALTIVES THAT STILL LIVE THERE, BUT I WILL NEVER MOVE BACK.

I live in So.Calif and have opportunities to visit Red Bay. A very dear lady, Carol Bartlett died there last week-anyone who knew her will know that she treated everyone like a child of God-I love Alabama and plan to move there next year.

you know there are small towns all over the world and in those small towns are people just like your selves complaining about how much they hate were they are. but i ask you how many of those people actually got out and have seen the world. i know for a fact its very few. is it becuase there scared of what it might bring or because there afraid of what the world really has to offer. im not sure but what i do know is that i used to be one of those people complaining all the time about how much i hated that place. but now after traveling and seeing what i've seen. there is only one place i will ever call home.

Red Bay is small, but it is not being destroyed by corrupt unions and immigration activists that want full use of our tax dollar. I have to show my ID in my doctor's office, why shouldn't they have to prove identity before getting insurance? All of these liberals and their "progressive" ideas are destroying our freedoms. That is not glamorous or exciting. Just pray that the unions and progressives don't set up shop in your town and start calling you names for your beliefs.
