Denham Springs OKs new noise ordinance

pretty soon nobody will be able to drink or listen to music i can under stand if the music is so loud you can hear it in your own house at night but during the day i think if we have our own peice of land and house we ought to be able to drink in our yard and listen to alittle music as long as it dont have cuswords and as long as no ones bothering anyone

I agree if the music is really loud at night when people are trying to sleep that is understandble. But when kids get off of school it is around 3 oclock, people shouldnt be at their house they should be at work. I understand if it is profanity but just a song should be ok. Also if we have a sound ordinance i believe the cops that are on patrol should be able to tell me or anyone else what exactly the law is not just say you have to fight it in court.

Ok , I think the noise ordinance is Great!!! I wish they had one in Watson La also. Why should I have to listen to someones Bazooka Boom Box in my home when they are a Block away in their car??? As for being at home at 3 oclock P.M.,, I am at home alot at this time because I work shift work. I have teenagers that drive and play their music loud ,,but they will never have subwoofers in their vehicle that will rattle windows in someones home. Im sorry but the loud Bass in vehicles isnt cool ,, its more like rude. I love Music,, but it is a difference when everyone in the neiborhood has to listen to Boom Boom Boom. That isnt cool thats stupid.
