Disclose the fees at the beginning of the relationship the way banks and the mortgage industry have to. This is such a load of malarkey from the realtors. I have seen this at closings by realtors and the customers are insulted and shocked. If a bank or mortgage person did it the realtors would give there standard line and bad mouth the lender. The banks and mortgage people make the deals happen and the Realtor makes all the money. If they want to charge those fees then make them give the customer a Good Faith Estimate at the beginning.
Between this and some of the lousy ethics maybe the RE industry should spend sometime defending themselves in front of Congress like everyone else has. |

Always bring extra cash at closing as there is always some line items that just pop up ...it is kind of sickening...
