Kohl's coming to South Florida

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

For more than a year, Kohl's has teased South Florida shoppers with advertisements encouraging them to visit area stores, even though the retailer has none in the region.

Finally Kohl's in South Florida!! Yeah! About time!

Interesting that this article says 'no' other stores currently planned, when in fact several articles clearly state that Kohl's IS coming to Miramar!!(including this store job opening listing posted about 16 days ago on Kohls' site)...

https://kohls.taleo.net/servlets/CareerSectio...

and this site clearly showing the Miramar Square "Kohls'" plans

Don't get too excited folks...I was in Kohls recently in California and very happy to finally see what all the hype was about and I was SORELY dissapointed. They are extremely overpriced and the quality of their house brands sucks. $60 for a polyester dress you can buy at Target for $25. Their kids clothes are cute, but again-expensive. I for one am not in a big rush to shop for overpriced clothes.

Thanks Kohl's for giving our crack community that relocated from NY another place to rob! This will take the heat off Walmart, K-Mart, Target, Beall's, Circle K's, 7-11's and al of the gas mart's such as Shell, Mobil, Cheron, Texaco, Citgo, BP, Hess, etc.

We visited a Kohl's when visiting "up Nawth" during the Holidays. What a huge disappointment!

First, the store was a "big box" store at a stand-alone location. The parking lot was almost empty. Once inside, we were shocked at the prices. Their "sale" price was more then other stores regular price.

The staff was discourteous and rude, to say the least. They make Wal-Mart look like Nordstrom's. The store was a complete mess.

Every sales person was forcing a credit card application on us at every turn. After checking the fine print...the interest rate was huge. Now looking at the customers in the store, the high priced items and the credit card rate...one can only figure out that they are over priced, and taking advantage of lower middle class shoppers.

We left Krummy Khol's and went to Macy's to do our Christmas shopping.

Kohl's is over priced, the quality is poor and I personally don't care for the styes. My 18 yr old daughters can't find anything there because they are NORMAL SIZE....not emaciated and not over weight. One of them would look like a street walker in the teen stuff because she is wears a size B cup. You would think that the buyers for the store would notice that their merchandize is not selling when there are so many sales rack full of cheap stuff that just won't sell! Dang!!!!
