Paterson calls for action on deficit, gay marriage

I still say that when it comes to issues like gay marriage, projects such as rebuilding the waterfront, new bus terminals etc. LET PEOPLE VOTE. Give the voters the information via, flyers, websites, TV news, the newspapers and put the vote to the public. That way the majority rules and there is "no special interests' involved. Almost sounds to simple.

Gay marrage is the only good thing he's done. Hope it doesn't get tacked on to one of their idiotic attemps to balance the budget. I hate when they mix bills like that.

While I do not care about a person's sexual preference, marriage is between a man and woman. If you want to change a law, change the law that requires you to be married in order to have certain rights.

Keep your ideas about gay marriage in your state. They don't want in
California anymore than most New Yorker's want it here. It is not a
natural union. You sure don't find it in the Animal world. Mother
Nature is not wrong, you are all of the gay's in America. Move to a

Not this again. I though everyone established this. What it says under the name doesn't reflect where people are anymore. I live in New York north of Rochester. Gay marriage should not be allowed, ever! If a lesbo has a baby it is not the "partner's" child, same for male steers, there is no mom or dad in these relationships. It should not be taught in school as normal, or forced on the public to accept.
