It is criminal what these agency's have done to Dr. Fox's patients. Consider his case load of over 2000 patients. Maybe some of those were drug-seeking addicts, but surely not most. What happens to these people who are in severe, chronic pain? We are not able to get our medical records because nobody answers the phone, or comes to the door. You have to have your records before another doctornwill see you, and even then, the earliest appointment I could find is mid-July. Patients were not told of the doctor's suspension, so many discovered it only when the tried tio fill a dated prescription.
No meds, no medical records, no alternate doctor. Lots of pain. Lots.
Thanks, Priority Partners, DHMH, and Maryland Board of Physicians. In stopping a Doctor from prescribing for a few bad patients, you have effectively kicked the rest of us to the curb with no help at all.
I thought your jobs were to HELP citizens get access to healthcare???

Filing Suite is exactly what needs to be done. The state clearly acted in gross negligence and endangered the very body of citizens it was meant to protect. A class action is clearly called for here. We need to get a list of victims, speak to an attorney and get this going. The insurance company, the State and, as much as I love him, Doc Fox all need to be named. Fox should have been on the phone immediately finding doctors to take his patients. We have all suffered tremendously with pain and with draw from the very people employed to help us. I'M IN!!!! Lets advertise in the paper for participants in the suite and lets get it going.

dr's dont like to give narcotics to patients. many think your drug seeking, which is so wrong. alot of people really are in pain and need the pain meds. i dont feel anyone should limit a dr when he tries to help a patient in pain.alot of drs are getting in alot of trouble giving out narcotics, and yet that is whats needed to ease a patients pain.he should be allowed to make that decision, as he is the one treating his patients.

I am also a former Dr. Fox patient and have spent over $10,000 of my own money (and we are very poor to start with) trying to maintain my level of treatment Dr. Fox provided for serious work-related injuries. I have to now drive ACROSS THE BAY BRIDGE from Berlin to obtain medical treatment. I have had it with this and have began calling attorneys and writing them. I think we do need a class-action lawsuit against the doctor, as good as a man as he is, to recover our losses. Please form a facebook page called "Former Patients of Dr. Fox" to create a virtual meeting place and time so that we can discuss how to recover our losses and move forward.
