It reads easier like this: We dont want him in our school, but he is free to go somewhere else until allegations are proven. He gets a letter of recommendation and [apparently] unemployment.

Teacher 1.
Student 0.

Guess he is innocent until proven guilty. "no one believes a child"...

What we "read", or in your case "read into", and what is actually true can be two entirely different things. Unfortunately people who decide that one is "guilty" until proven innocent, which seems your last statement should have said from your sarcastic tone, can enable your ability to see the truth.

Also, I did not know that such circumstances require a tally, referring to your clever: Teacher 1, Student 0 point system. You should be keeping a tally for false accusations and misconstrued events. That would merit a significatly larger number.

Unless if you personally know this person, then I would suggest you keep your misconceived and ignorant opinions to yourself.

"No one believes a child," Well, no one believed the little boy who cried wolf, now did they?

He is a good man and this whole mess has been a sad thing for all parties involved.

I agree this has been a sad mess, but I guess the definition of a "good man" has certainly changed since I was in school.

Talk to a woman from the 60's and ask her what a good man was. Women and girls in schools had virtually no rights and men and boys could do whatever they wanted.

This wasn't even a story that was covered in depth by the FPS. Most people are probably reacting with, "What? I didn't even know this was an issue." As far as "good men",I don't know about that, CLASS OF 1960. At least one band director and two football coaches since 1968 have been involved with students during high school and eventually married them. It is still a "good ole boys" club when it comes to men, even in the school system as it is today. To think otherwise is to live in a parallel universe.

LOL I dissagree with what the woman from the 60's said, I went to high school then and I didn't see that there were no rights for girls and woman. Our class president was a girl and the principal was a woman.

Lost in space, did you foregot the female teachers, over the last 20 years, that had affairs with underage boys? They got softer penalties than the men. Who is living in a parallel universe? So, you also discount my class president and principal were females back in 1967.

Female sex offenders are rare, and female teachers who have affairs with students are an even smaller group, which explains why these incidents when they occur, receive more media saturation. You have such a knack for twisting and turning commentary from others so that it suits your need to seem omniscient.

I am not condoning what these "bad" teachers do, I only wanted to point out what you fail to, both sides do it. Something that did not want to mention. If your so omniscient tell me why more female teachers are involved in this type of behavior? From reading your posts it lets the readers think you have an ax to grind.

Wait a minute! What did he do? Why are they hiding it? Maybe he'll go somewhere and do it to another student!

Well he must have not done much. After all the sheriff investigation found nothing illegal. If he had befriended the young lady and had any contact with her after school that is not allowed. That may be why he was let go without any repremand. Now this is my guess and I have no facts about what happened.

There are two sides to this story, and you won't be happy with the other side, either. Also - Carrollton already had an incident with a female teacher.

Asdf0987--REALLY--then why did they "lay him off permanently", which, unless you failed Kindergarten, looks like a firing to me? I may be an ignorant sap, but you are as dumb as the bark on the tree! YA, he's such a good person, that's why they got rid of him---hummm does 2 + 2 = 22 in your book? He did SOMETHING WRONG or we wouldn't even be discussing this!

Very intelligent of you, BOB. You're a quick one. I'm sure glad you know everything. Looks like your keen intellect has this whole thing figured out. Not that you jumped to conclusions or anything. Way to read in between the lines.

What ever Randy "wanna be king of cowtown" Miller...it takes two to tango. If this happened with one it happened with others, and is still ongoing wait and see.
