How do they know it's not vigilantes doing some of the killings which certainly are continuing?

The vigilantes are cowards.

The vigilantes did a lot of talk. It looked suspicious from the begining. Why announce that you are going to start killing one person a day at the beginning of the year but wait 6 months??? Numerous people have been killed between now and then. When were these vigilantes going to do something? It was all a bunch of BS.

There will never be law and order in Juarez. Never.

The last thing you need in ElPaso is the crew from Philadelphia Radio - Read their past, read their stance on not immigration but "Mexican immigration".

The City of El Paso would be smart not to give them the attention they crave. Remember talk Radio is Talk Radio -- Their real base are Limbaugh type bigots and their ratings depend on the outlandish.

One of the sponsors is a Gun Shop with the website "Gunrunner1000.com ".

What the hell are you babbling about, New Jersey? There is nothing in this article about any "Philadelphia radio". Go back in your little cave.

The "vigilantes" (or vigilante--there may have been only one) is, was or were blowhard coward(s) who hide behind a keyboard and dream that they had been born with cajones.

To make sure they get credit for their noteworthy deeds, real vigilantes leave behind business cards or other evidence with their carcasses, a la Border Body Dumps. They also are not rationed to one a day, for hitting the big time operators sometimes requires taking out several at a time.

Perhaps we should declare open season on anyone who advertises their gang affiliation with tattoos, shirts, etc. If you are dumb enough to announce it you are too dumb to live anyway.

I am so glad to know that my tax dollars are being spent on supporting these types of stupid exhibits. Carol Brey, the library director, and her freedom of speech position needs to go back to Las Cruces or who ever else will take here. Remember this is the same lady that lets internet users view porn while sitting next to children who are looking at disney.com .

It's simply a way to express the thoughts and the reality of the violence. I bet there are many other artists out there doing the same thing but are not ready to display their work for fear of the public's reaction. We must remember, Art takes many forms! Maybe this will help inspire them to do so. I would love to see more of this.

Me, too. I bet it gives relief to all the family members who have lost a loved one in the violence. "Ay, pobresito Manuel, pero we can always remember him with this pinata. Sigo yo!"

Uhhhh!!!! Spoken like a real man. You sound very macho. You have either actually done this, or you watch a lot of Chuck Norris flicks and play a lot of violent video games in your mom's basement.

Only the El Paso Times would have been stupid enough to have taken this so-called threat as serious.

By the way, it's "cojones", not "cajones", not that it matters because the term is not used in México.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
