hi. i am back in bartlesville from texas for the 2008 tulsa bodybuilding show.this time around i went to the scary looking hill on my hardly-davison cycle. this was about 10 days ago. my good friend jay cutler, the current mr. olympia, was with me this time around. he was on his hardly-davison. since it was a humid night with sever thunderstorms in the area, we just wore our posing trucks and nothing else.he was barefooted and i wore my new pair of flip-flops i got at the b'ville wal-mart.as we were going down highway 75 just south of town, i notice some bad lighting just to the west of us. by the time we reach the turn off,it was really lighting and thudering, and the wind really started to blow hard.as we were turning on to the road from the highway, i yelled to jay "i hope we make to the top of the hill before it starts to rain and hail." about a half a mile from the railroad tracks, it started to rain really hard. we slowed down to about 20 mph from about 60 mph.then we started to get baseball to softball size hail by the time we reached the railroad tracks. jay and i quickly abanded our cycles and tryed to seek shelter underneath the trees by the tracks.about five minents later it stop hailing, but it was still raining very hard.we decided to contenru to the top of the hill. so we started up the very scary looking hill on are hardlys.then it started to hail agin. this time we abanded our hardlys once more. then it stared to rain even harder by the time we reach the trees on the side of the road. i got to the trees by the side of the road and the next thing i notice i slipped on this rock and i was slideing downe the muddy slope. by the time i climbed back up to the side of the road, the storm has finely passed. as jay and i was walking back to our hardlys, he nocticed i was in the BUFF! i though he was joking around, and when i looked down i saw i was NAKED and BAREFOOTED standing beside my cycle!i said to jay " i somehow lost both my posing trunks and flip flops by sliding down and climbeing back up that muddy slipery slope in the heavey rain.i hoped no one sees me riding back to town BUTTE NAKED on my hardly.i have alot of oklahoma friends here." then jay said " don't worry. it's the middle of the night. no one will see you."then i asked jay if he brought a extra pair of posing trucks for me to wear and he said no.we both climbed back on our hardlys. jay started his cycle with ease and my didn't start at all.after ten minets of trying to start my cycle, i gave up. jay said he cound give me a ride back in town. i climbed on to the back of jay's hardly and rode back into town BUTT NAKED on the back of his hardly-davison. i in the buff and him in his light blue posing tunks on his hardly as we pulled back into b'ville.the next day we went back out to gravity hill on his hardly to pick up my cycle. your texas friend lee priest.

I went years ago with a friend and I tell ya this hill is haunted.
Has anyone went up to I think "Hooters Hill?" There is an indian cemetary and on one of the grave sites the letters ME are engraved.
This is another haunted place. The cemetary is a few feet from the hill where everyone hangs out tucked in weeds. If I ever come back to NOWATA I wanna check these places out.
This is so awesome how years later people are still talking about this stuff.
I have lived in Bartlesville all of my life. Take my word for it when I say that you are perfectly safe on gravity hill. I am a sensitive, I would know

I saw a UFO atop of Gravity Hill once. This was on Nov.11,1992. I was sixteen at the time.I was with my boyfriend Alex at that time. We just came from Bowring where my boyfriend Alex lived. After we saw it we hightailed it out of there. We took Gap Road to highway 123 just west of town, then on up to Bowring. Once we got to Alex's house in Bowring, we sat in his car and laugh about the thing we saw.

Wow! Sure a lot to do about nothing on this subject. Sit a builders level on the road surface (yes, I have done this) and you see that you are in fact sloping in the direction your vehicle rolls. Its just an illusion that your going uphill because of the pitch of the surrounding terrain.
Living in Ochelata for many years, I traveled this road several times a day, never found anything scary about it
