Tulsa man arrested in connection with alleged molestation at youth camp-out

This is the same person who victimized young boys in the Atlanta, Georgia area in 1993-94. No one here would come forth to accuse him.

Menna was "hiding in Canada from '97 to '01 and victimized more young boys at skeleton lake scout camp under an assumed identity of j.t./ jon Taylor but had several articles with the Menna name on them too

David Menna claimed to be working at the Atlanta Olimpics as a security guard and doctor

Does anyone know if Menna has been charged in the past? Possibly alias names and locations?

Supposedely his previous arrest record was exponged

David Menna / J.T. was accused in '98 at Skeleton Lake Scout Camp but no one would come forward to press charges

If this is the same David Menna he may face prosecution this time. Never know, but he has a preliminary hearing set 1-22-08 @ 1:PM. You may choose to visit www.odcr.com and enter his name. This is an excellent sight for several counties records in Oklahoma. Keep me advised if anyone thinks of anything that can be researched.

Do you know WHERE that previous arrest record supposedly was? Canada? US?

VRA ..If there were charges, newspapers in the area should be of assistance. So far, no luck. Law enforcement would have investigated. Not sure who or what juristiction. Skeleton Lake Scout Ranch closed and sold in 2003 'I think'. I believe Mounted Police could have information, don't know. There are Tribal Police in the area, but don't think it would be there juristiction.

Sometimes offender/accused could use alias and/or flee - as you indicated in earlier note. Sounds like you are investigating what he has done also. We are curious what position you have in looking for his background; if you knew him prior to charges..? criminal justice? ANY leads could help. thx

David Menna showed up at our church in the fall of 2006 in Tulsa. He helped with a rapelling outing, and then tried to organize a group camp out with our church youth. We had been warned by someone from a previous church to watch out for him since he had befriended two families and tried to get them to let him take their kids to places like the movies,etc. without the parents. Thankfully, our church council posted a notice that anyone wanting to take any of our kids offsite would have to submit to a background check. It worked, and Mr. Menna disappeared and never came back.
Mr. Menna claimed to be a Navy Seal "black ops". I contacted the organization and found out he was not. He also claimed to be a doctor and a dentist. We checked licensing in Oklahoma and Georgia and found he had never been a physician or dentist in either state.

Carol, I would like to encourage you to contact the authorities that left contact information on this site, if you haven't already. Your information could possibly be helpful.

Menns's criminal matter has been continued from 1-22-08 till 3-19-08 @ 1:pm.

came home to stat with his mom and changed her will, put house, bank account, and safe deposit box in his name and changed locks on house to prevent sister's access

Hate to see the actions concerning the mom and sister. Could be a situation where adult services should be contacted. I think i'd make a report for the record. The lock thing is not good. I figure that mom is possibly being manipulated.

I was told by someone that was at their home that the mother didn't appear to be "quite all there". I was told that she asked the same question to this person at least 3 times in the hour or so they were there.
