This study won't be done for 2 years? Seems like a waste of time/money.
I just don't understand why they don't extend metro along I66 all the way up to Haymarket (and then to Warrenton). Seems like it would not be that hard to put up lines there (they could put them up high, similar to the transit in Chicago).

You know what would be great?- a train from culpeper to DC, with a few limited stops along the way (perhaps 1 in Warrenton, 1 in Gainesville/Haymarket, and 1 in Fairfax).

Why do a study?

Just try and explaine to someone (without them or you laughing) that our transportation system is designed with four lanes of highway where people live. This reduces down to two lanes shortly after you get to a highway that takes you around the area where everyone works, and that highway has 4/5 lanes. If you have more than one person, you are permitted to pass through those two lanes at mach II, to a point where eventually you can have four lanes again, and get to make laws handing out transportation dollars.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Sagittarius

Tension and worry loom large at various times during the day, but it's nothing that will overwhelm you. If you can manage to keep a cool head, your nerves in check and think things through logically, you'll have a relatively smooth day. Children are a source of joy at the moment.
