Nothing is lower then a wannabe veterans group (VNV/Legacy) attacking another veterans group on Veterans DAY. They also riped the American Flag in half.

Where was Rodak's taser and mace when he needed it?
The other group was jealous of his bike club. I think Rodak's group needs to visit and set things right with them.

I've always thought of bike gangs as being the direct descendants of the outlaw gangs that used to ride horses in the old West. The horses have been replaced by hawgs, while behavior patterns remain the same. Instead of rustling and bank robbery, these modern outlaws deal in drugs.

Biker gangs are a collection of mobile thugs, at times patriotic thugs - but nonetheless - thugs.

Pseudo-patriotism has offered a convenient cover and even limited societal acceptability to many of the large gangs, while involving themselves in drug smuggling and sales at the same time. Naturally they don't want some little upstart group stealing their cover, hence the attack.

They rob, they beat, they even kill, then ride off into the sunset... just like the Clantons and the James gangs used to do decades ago throughout the old west.

So where's Wyatt Earp when we really need him?

This assault destroyed not only an American Flag, but it also destroyed any respect the Biker world may have had for the VNV MC. Shame on them!

Joe I apoligize for what the VNV/Legacy did, I was not involved, but when I head about it I quit. They have lost their purpose for supporting veterans. Jane Fonda and Cindy Sheehan need to join their club because they act, behave and treat our Nations Veterans the same.

I am ashamed that someone would do this to Vet. It makes you wonder why they are allowed to wear American colors.
And to tear down the American Flag....Let them try that in front of me, it is impossible that they are veterans if they touch the flag and dishonor it.

What do you expect from a bunch of immature boys who play dress-up and ride bikes? "Hey, look at me! I'm wearing a leather vest and a clip-on ponytail! I'm a real man!" Give me a break.

From an outsider looking in, the whole biker culture is just kinda dumb. Almost comical, really. There was a "biker dude" magazine in the waiting room at the tire shop the other day. I thumbed through it...page after page of identical looking "rebels": shaved heads, wrap-around sunglasses, angry frown flipping the bird to the camera...toothless snanks on the back of their bikes. That isn't cool toughguy...it just isn't. I guess we all have ways of dealing with a midlife crisis.

My hunch is a lot of these guys are off duty police officers. How hard is it to find and question a biker gang about an assault?

I would have shot those thugs. People get you CWP then you can start to kill these thugs Legally

I find ironic that two groups of people who fought and sacrificed of themselves, would resort to this type of activity - deny somebody of their right to assemble, when it was the defense of the rights of others and the defense of the constitution which provides these rights. Remember that oath, my fellow vets "...to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic..." Typically veterans have been the most staunch defenders of the flag, so to find out then they decided to desecrate one, I am at a loss.

I guess when you join an MC club, you check your previously sworn oaths at the door, as well as your obligation to obey the laws of the land.

Sounds like a helluva beatin. Joe Rodak got his butt whooped in front of everybody and aint noone done nothin to defend him. The cowards are the posers that stood there and watched their club president take a boot to the behind. This here's america, it's survival of the strongest.

Soon these losers will be starting wheelchair clubs at the nursing home. Beating eachother with canes in Paisley? What a bunch of dumbasses.

Idiots. All of them. I literally have to vacate my place in NSB twice a year when the posers come to town. Nothing more useless than sitting around w/ a bunch of guys talking about 'Nam (Yeah, I was there, but that was then.) Rodak obviously p'd off the wrong people and may or may not have gotten what he deserves.

At least in the movie Wild Hogs they all got their asses beaten together!!
