Tell you what folks, let's give people a hard time that are doing something good for our youth and leave the delapitated drug houses standing and fully operational. County Attorney, how about you put that high priced salary to work and close down the bad places. The folks at the facility should have proper permits however they should not be penalized because county officials failed to inform them of necessary permits and such. It is obvious the owners were not trying to hide anything, the county has information on file about the complex.

Funny, counties and cities are losing revenue from a bone head tax relief vote and only now are the complaints coming in. Let's use our resources to curb the crime problem, like you stated, not detract from the good resources. Unbelievable.

Brings a new low to what parents will find to complain about when their kids get the meassage - "sorry, but we are fully booked for this year"
I'm glad it didn't work and the County handled it in a mature reasonable manner.

The idiot lady who uttered that "it's going to be expensive" quote ought to be sent to a distant planet where she can recite stupid things with nobody listening. It's going to be expensive to send her there but getting rid of her would be worth it.

I hope these folks do meet code and will be able to get their permits. However, if one is going into a business venture of this size (and expense), wouldn't one double-check to make sure one had all the paperwork in order? Or was it a thing where since they had the occupation permit, they assumed that meant it was all right?
