I don't in any way condone these types of acts and I'm not 'happy' that someone did this to her. With that being said, call it Karma, fate, a coincidence or just God's design... What you do on this earth and to other people doesn't go unnoticed and in some way will come to repay you (good or bad). It's so sad that people don't truly know how to love, be happy, or do a good deed for the sake of others without selfish motive.
A word of advice to Mrs. Torres and anyone else this may apply to: find the good in your life. Find what you truly love about you and this will lead you to finding the good in others and ultimately true happiness. You were given the gift of life which is, if nothing else, one thing that should make you smile everyday. Don't be fake. Life an honest life. The happiness that comes from being a good person and loving yourself/others does not compare to the pseudo happiness That comes from making other people as unhappy as you really are or making others seem bad to make you look better. And remember, you can be your worst adversary. It's easy to convince ourselves that we are happy and good and turn a blind eye to the bad deeds we do. But the secret to life is realizing your flaws and making that change to being a better person. If you talk badly about others just for the sake of conversation, that says you have nothing better to talk about, meaning there's nothing good about you that is worth sharing with others. No matter how wrong or bad you think someone is, it's not justifiable, what purpose is there to talk about it other than to mask your own faults from yourself and others.
I hope other people can take something from this as well. We are all 'waiting on the world to change' before we change ourselves. But if we are all waiting on each other... The world will never change. Remember "be the good you want to see in others and the change you want to see in this world". Life's too short and too precious to go through it blindfolded.
