You sure have a lot of theories and accusations but do not expect Raye to take ANY responsibility in this.You want to hold others accountable for things that did NOT lead to the death of this child and then point blank accuse a person of murser for hire all the while saying Raye deserved no culpability in what happens to her daughter while in her care.

Although I got quite confused at first when reading her statement. I wasn't sure if she were blaming someone for hiring someone to kill Kelsey until I just read it again.

I thought I read it somewhere that Lance had a dependent life insurance policy on Kelsey for $10K from the military. But $10K is hardly enough to get rich these days, especially after the cost of a funeral.

The smith family were traumitized enough with the murder and secret abuse of their baby girl, It started when kelsey was born and the briggs drug them to court to get a blood test and make her change Kelsey's name.

Does the media care that a family has been destroyed over the abuse from the briggs to the smiths. and when the baby died, that just killed the smiths. They died too that day.

Kathie Briggs is Kelsey's paternal grandmother. Although we have made attempts not to even mention her name in our fight for Raye Dawn's freedom, it's impossible because many of us see Kathie as the main reason Raye Dawn is now in prison. Kathie is the one who corresponded with Mike Porter. Kathie started Kelsey's Purpose and used it as a tool to gain support and harass and threaten the DA and other public officials until Raye Dawn was charged with a crime. Kathie wanted "that little hussy in jail" and she wanted her in jail "for MURDER" and that's obvious from not only her words to Mike Porter but also her actions since Kelsey's death.

Kathie got what she wanted when Raye Dawn was sentenced and then she went after Gayla, Raye Dawn's mother, by passing out flyers around Gayla's neighborhood that accused Gayla of not taking proper care of Raye Dawn's dad when he was dying of cancer and accused Gayla of neglecting Kelsey. Kathie said on her forum that she wanted Gayla in prison. I believe she stated "one down, many more to go."

and if you want to do something about child abuse,

why don't you look into the reason for some one to secretly bang a baby's head
against a brick wall?

and spank her til she puked?

what kind of person would do this?

who would encourage this kind of behavior?

what kind of childhood did he have?

Raye Dawn never shed a tear over Kelsey. The Briggs family insisted on a DNA test because Raye Dawn slept around, and had already lied to a young man named Jason that he was the father. Gayla Smith slapped Kelsey when she wouldn't nap. Raye Dawn would hold Kelsey up by one arm and spank her buttocks and throw her across the room. Kelsey's body showed the fact that she was suffering from malnutrition while in the care of her mother.

Raye Dawn was the one to come to Lance and the rest of the Briggs family because she wanted child support, and someone to dump Kelsey on when she went out and partied.

What gets to me is that Raye Dawn Smith stated herself that Kelsey had some cream of chicken soup that day after she woke up.
I don't understand why a decent breakfast couldn't have been made for Kelsey.

Did Kelsey like pancakes? Of course, maybe it was a little too much trouble for Raye Dawn.
After all, the cream of chicken soup probably came in a can and all that had to be done was to open the can, put it in a bowl and nuke it for a couple of minutes.
I know my daughter loved pancakes at that age. Still does.
Right along with scrambled eggs which are really a good source of high quality protein for a growing little girl.
But my daughter definitely doesn't like cream of chicken soup. She'll eat chicken and dumplings when I make them but not cream of chicken soup.
So I just found that a little odd.

She began refusing food, according to the DHS. But in the fairy land that Sue, Raye Dawn, and J.O. reside in, that isn't important. Nor is it important that Kelsey had a cracked skull.

I want to address the snide comments made by the FKM zombies about the photos of Lance at Kelsey's grave, wearing his combat fatigues. First of all, the wreath was donated by the military. Secondly, Lance was still a member of the United States Army; regardless of the rehab at Fort Benning, Georgia. Therefore, he was perfectly within his rights to wear the fatigues as he paid respect to the daughter he loved.

What about the photo taken of Gayla and some of the members of FKM, grinning like fools, as they STOOD ON KELSEY'S GRAVE? How does that honor Kelsey? Was that when they started formulating their plan to use Kelsey as a publicity gimmick?
