I'm glad Highland Park's affordable housing program makes it possible for ordinary people like Vicente Pecina to live here. Otherwise, the place would be wall-to-wall Stuart Levines; where's the fun in that?

It is time to start frying any convicted pedophile. These sick Bast _ erds just keep coming out of the woodwork. Most disturbing is what woodwork, schools and Catholic Churches.
|
||||
|
Why is this even in the paper? After all it doesn't involve an evil Catholic Priest just another public school employee. If it was a priest it would be the headline right?

Why is this story being reported on? After all it just involves another public school worker and not an evil Catholic priest. Public school employees abusing and molesting students and each other is so common it's not news. If it involves a Priest, even if that is actually much rarer, it should be the lead story.
Where are all the posters that were here earlier this week bashing the church, bishops and priests? Come on guys someone might get the impression you are bigoted hypocrites. |

Pedophiles aren't limited to just the catholic church - they live next door to you. It's just that they don't have enough money to make it worthwhile suing them or putting them in jail. A couple of weeks ago there was an article about a baptist minister abusing children. Ergo, it isn't just the church, it's everywhere. I say "cut 'em off".

Good question Bruce, the numbers of Public School employees who are charged with sex abuse are far greater than that of Catholic Priests by an order of magnitude.
When is that story coming out? How about the teachers unions who try to do everything they can to prevent background checks? Oh wait......why would a liberal journalist go after Liberal Voting, Union donating public school officials? Gotta help the cause to destroy religion instead. |

Gives new meaning to the term "mystery meat".

There you go again assuming. NOWHERE DOES IT SAY ILLEGAL. Unless you can't read. |

Dude don't tempt fate. You know damn well that there are a few more freaky Priests out there. |
||||

It's one thing to be stuck with the lowest of the low because you can't afford to pay a decent wage to a decent person. But I'm pretty sure Highland Park can afford better-paid, better-screened, better-educated, more upstanding (and, likely, legal) workers for its precious junior high school children -- right, Highland Park? If I were a parent I'd be demanding it right about now.

This story doesn't involve a priest or a catholic school? I guess we won't be treated to the obligatory local news station coverage including:
1. The post bail payment "perp" walk from the police station steps to the parking lot; 2. The interview with the irate parent lamenting that he/she doesn't feel the school provides enough security for the children; and 3. Call for the district superintendent's job for allowing this to occur on his/her watch. |

You are so full of BS. Your always right? Please!

What is sad is that nothing will happen to this molester because of where he lives and works. I bet he'll be back on the job Monday morning ... If it was a priest there would be *H* to pay.
