I live in Chicago and was so impressed by this story.
I adore these people that helped, from the residents to the firefighters, it restores my belief in humanity. We all (animals and humans) feel suffering. It is so heartwarming to know that people responded and helped. A huge thank you from some girl in the Midwest.
