DCF allowed WMS Principal to hurt my child

I remember when Mr. Maynard, a "prominent"teacher was teaching there. It came to light that he was a pedophile and was arrested as he had abused children for numerous years. There were signs for concern. The school was sued by many parents. Don't "assume"the mother here is unjustly accusing the educators. Wait for the WHOLE story. Just a thought.

We don't have to wait for the WHOLE story, she's already told us. Let's see. The mother is saying that her son was picked on and she complained to the Board of Education, who then reported her to DCF, who then removed her child from her home with the cooperation of a Judge of the Superior Court, all of them in cahoots just to punish her for complaining about the principal to the BOE. That's her WHOLE (ridiculous) story.

When did this allegedly happen? I just talked to a relative who has had children in the Westbrook schools for the last 18 years, and she doesn't remember ever hearing about this.

Sounds like 'money talks' and her cohort ARE DCF
scum because they spend so much of their time slamming the parent which DCF does with expertise.

No, my child was not taken by these scum bags, not lack for trying, I just beat them at their own game and used their own evidence against them which was full of inconsistencies. DCF lies so much, sooner or later they trap themselves, the hard part is getting the documents they work so hard to keep from us!

Cheryl, your best advice has been to 'know your rights' and document. Parents documentation is the truth and DCF's isn't. WE catch them sooner or later and WE will dismantle this abusive and
corrupt agency. President Obama and the First Lady have taken a personal interest in reforming
CPS across the country. Parents can send their
testimonies to the White House.

The people at DCF will always have job security, because there will always be people who have children they can't afford to raise, or don't have the brains to raise. You want to put DCF out of their jobs? TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS! It's that simple.

scores of children in need but these are not the children they seek. These children require real
interventions that DCF fails to provide and outcomes are poor. DCF has become the agency for the government to snatch children from parents that would benefit from services if those services were effective. Government's concern is liability; thus, children with parents that have a profile suggesting there might be a future risk are subject to having their children removed, in some cases right out of birthing units. There is also a growing concern that DCF is the agency that the goverment uses against targeted citizens. Statistically, CPS nationally does not provide safe environments for children as they as designated to do. Children are placed into facilities with without consideration of emotional or criminal backgrounds, culture, religion, or social norms. These children are then deprived of their family network, friends, and activities they previously enjoyed.

My comments are not slanderous of this mother and her child. I have said nothing about her child. What I have said about the mother is that she is blaming a system for her own problems, and that is not slanderous, it's obvious to anyone reading this forum.

Your post leans toward the same paranoid opinions expressed by this mother, although you seem to be more articulate.

Sadly, YOU are wrong. If you did any research on this subject at all, you would know that the great majority of children "snatched" by CPS are, indeed, children of color and children from the cities.

One thing you fail to mention, in your indictment of CPS, is that a child cannot be removed from his home without the blessings of a judge. Are you also proposing that judges are in cahoots with CPS, stealing children from good parents for some unknown reason? If money is CPS's motivation, what is the court's motivation?

And speaking of money, if, as this mother continually claims, CPS removes children for the purpose of getting federal money for adopting kids out, why does CPS "snatch" older children and children of color who are pretty much un-adoptable? Why are they not "snatching" cute little healthy white babies, who would have no trouble being adopted?

I have no "motivation" that you should question. I am, as I have stated before, simply a taxpayer who is sick to death of having to spend my tax dollars on these kids, who deserve to be at home with their parents.

Why won't Cheryl or her ilk ever consider that? If you can't admit that there are such children, then there's no point in discussing it.

OHHHH yes it is one of those times by what everyone already knows about the DCF( besides that is not what I'm doing here, bring ridicule to it, I see that is what you are trying to do to me, I'm just shining the light on the wrongs that have been done to me) and tooo bad I have to be the one to expose DCF and people like the Principal( school officials and DCF conspire on parents who don't suck up to their lying ways) who is in a position to do damage to the public school education, is the reason for the retaliation on the mother who has testified to the Legislation of the State of CT. on Dec. 18, 2008 see the video on www.ct-n.com scroll to the 9th hour if you want the real picture here.
