My husband is related to rowdy he would come down to Austin and stayed with his step dad and brother ...he was very joyful and ate dinner with us. He was smart and funny. I remember he went hunting with dusty and lois and was very excited about shooting his first...he was not "a punk ass kid" god says let those without sin cast the first stone...and you cast it and say he deserves to die...what gives you that right? are you that ignorant...He didn't have the chance to learn from his mistake...and you a heartless ignorant asshole ...whose probably inbred...I'll pray for you...I can't believe you would have the gall to say he deserved to die your sadistic and demented your talking about a 15yo a human being a LIFE...who deserved a chance...and I am thankful that his brother is alive and has a chance to reprimand himself !! Rowdy - What kind of name is THAT? Appropriate in this case. Just imagine him lying there on the ground helpless to do anything but weaken and die from blood loss, regretting his bad choice and wishing for his mother. It's unfortunate this boy ended up throwing his life away so soon, but he was already heading down the wrong path to even worse [mis]behavior with even worse consequences for his victims. Maybe this will "stick" it into the others to change their stupid ways before it's too late.

And where did you get that Rowdy made a mistake? I missed that somehow in the article. This was not a “mistake” a mistake would be when a person committed a wrong action attributable to bad judgment or ignorance or inattention … well ok I guess you can call it a mistake … but to put all the chips where they belong if you’re going to label this a mistake then you need to place the word intentional in front of the word mistake.
Yes, he can be "sweet" and "nice" and have a "heart of gold", but the reality is he died because he was out doing something he should never have been doing in the first place.

I am thankful for my life....I have one because I don't committ criminal acts to take it away. As far as your "profiling of teens" you should have figured this one out a long time ago about how he would end up. And I'm sure many teens do turn themselves around but there are many who don't and this is a prime example. I wonder if his brother and friend are still laughing and joking. Not so funny now I bet.
