Profits, built Ford tough

The UAW, once again, refuses to face reality. Ford wisely declined to take the offered Federal dollars, and therefore is not subject to having itself operated as an arm of the government, with bureaucrats deciding business strategy and such things as who will be the CEO and the members of the Board, along with how much it's executives will be paid. The union, sadly, fails to represent the best interests of it's members, by agreeing to comparable contracts to the competition. That only forces the company to close it's old factories, and relocate them to places where it's possible to hire non union labor, thus putting even more of it's members out of a job. Being a member of the UAW is quite meaningless, if you don't have a job to go to.

In an old blog people were sounding off against the American auto companies. I stated in one, that I have had good use and well over 100,000 miles on my F150.
