Top Ficano aide charged in corruption probe

It's clear that people were stealing from under Ficano's proboscis. Sure Ficano can say they should be prosecuted. Ficano's only guilt in this case is the culture of graft that he established. This stuff is not going away by election time. I hope he does run so people can send him a message.

Whole philosophy of this administration seems to be let us lay low and if caught wriggle out of it someway.the buck should stop at the top. Just like in turkia saga starting this investigation ,there seems to be an abundance of graft greed and corruption under ficano watch.then when he is cornered he wants to distance himself. Who hired these people?coincidence that everyone seemed to be OK till the FBI got involved.what other things went on that citizens should be aware of?

There are so many pieces to this puzzle. One thing leads to another. The investigation so far is being done methodically. They could have charged this Kazmi way back in November. Instead, they gathered more evidence and enticed him to conspire to alter evidence, which furthered his crime. While investigations always look for the big cheese in crimes, so far nothing has gotten up to Ficano's personal dealings. That is the ultimate goal. If it does not happen, lots of chunks of cheese will be consumed along the way and that's a good thing. Ficano will be tried in the court of public opinion. Even Helen Keller can see that Ficano must be crooked or totally incompetent to serve beyond Mickey D's.
