Or is it due to Ford brow beating the union into concessions and give backs last spring? If this is the cause, then Ford needs to immediately give back everything they gained from the people who make the company what it is...their union employees.
Perhaps it is both and Ford's management needs to get down on their collective knees and thank our President, Mr. Obama - and at the same time get down on their collective knees and beg forgiveness of the union members for taking 1 billion dollars from them & giving it back right now. Fact is the biggest contributor was Americans wanted to buy American cars instead of Obama machines. Second reason was costing cutting on suppy chains and third was cash for clunkers. Problem Ford faces going forward is they do not have a deal with the unions. It would be a shame if the unions are allowed to take down the last remaining US auto maker.

This is one of the things wrong with this country today. We are no longer willing to open our minds and learn. Obamunism is not a new concept it use to be called communism. As I state before, Karl Marx came up with your "new" ideas many, many years ago. You might consider giving his book, Communist Manifesto a read, it will give you some new material.

Wow, surprising how the free market works, they choose something, you chose something different. It seems if many did not choose one type of vehicle, that company should go out of business. It seems if their spending, legacy costs, and production do not turn a profit, they should go out of business. It would make no sense for a government, known for never making a profit, with a horrible track record of legacy costs, to buy that bad company.
