Hillary ... and now two women vying for the seat.
What is this ... a designated woman's senate seat?

They could at least get the story right. It was NY Gov Paterson that picked Hillibrand not Obama!

Don't vote for any of them, they are all Career Politicians who are in it only for themselves. When we hear about sessions of congress and votes being taken at 3 am after the day was closed we see nothing but shady politics and this has happened recently in the US Congress!
Then we see what is going on in Albany! Lock the doors, change the books and after all of this, How could anyone even think about voting for yet another Career politician who only will help the special interests and then give you peanuts and say look what I did for you, Vote For Me, Peanuts they give while they take Watermelons!

Given what we currently have in Albany, apparently that is EXACTLY the kind of people that New Yorkers WANT in elected offices. Otherwise they would not BE in thos offices, now would they?

Oh, by the way - who is this "Bill Clinton" guy, anyway?

Not just what we have now but what we have had for decades!

We have to stop complaining about what they do and start looking at why we keep voting the same types or same people back into office for life!

All too often we let Hate for a party rule our votes rather than what we should want that person to do, but when they get there no matter what office or level of government, what is good for the people goes out the window as it is now what can I do to get re elected and playing politics seems to be the fashion that has to go!

As the Real problem here is The Voters Who Have Elected these People, and then we have to get past the excuse of, It wasn't my Elected Offical because most likely they had a hand in it somewhere along the line also!

Hey, I have a novel idea. Why doesn't everyone do the research and vote for who they think is the best candidate. Certain people out there think they need to be telling people who to vote for. Listen to only yourself and vote based on what YOU think this state and you personally needs.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Sagittarius

You'll feel friendly with everyone you meet today, and you might even be lucky financially. Money should be coming in, but going out rather fast as well... Astral influences will keep you on your toes, and will probably make you flirtatious, but they could also make you moody. This makes it tricky for close relationships to run on an even keel. The truth is, perhaps you don't want too much closeness at the moment. Your partner probably knows that you're often like this, by now, anyway.
