He sounds like a real jerk.

This goes to show you that some people will take advantage of the freebies they get and these types make it hard for others. And what makes it even worst he failed the polygraph test. What a disgrace to the force.

Abuse of Power, plain and simple.

Not really... When you DON'T call attention to these things, they go unchecked and can progress even uglier. |

Everyone should own at least one business in their life in order to realize NOTHING IS FREE! So stop asking.

The officer exercised poor judgement, not by demanding free coffee, but by choosing to drink highly overrated Starbucks. McDonald's coffee is tastier and much cheaper (one is not paying extra for some clown with an invented title to brew and serve coffee).

This clown was a lieutenant? Nice department!

Wow! A first louie too. Yeah Starbucks and a few other places are too cheap to offer a cop a small pastry in addition to a cup of warm urine. Like the louie told the buckers, you call and we can get here in two minutes or maybe it might take up sixteen minutes. Free donuts, coffee and pee breaks in a clean restroom or no police service palie! Get it?

That is nothing new. When I was working as a waitress at a White Tower in DC fifty years ago the police in that neighborhood did the same thing and I was told to give it to them. I remember thinking that it was not right, and it lowered my esteem for the police. This was my first job and I couldn't walk into a White Tower and get free coffee and I knew the police made a lot more money than me.

A free cup of coffee for a cop is a nice gesture , but it shouldn't be demanded.
And it's different if this was a diner and the guy owned the place, not cool to shake down an employee, to make them steal from their employer and risk their job. Also, a vail threat to their safety. Kind of like paying a bum to watch your car so that the bum doesn't scratch it. |

Hey! This guy was a ghetto thug. Why are you surprised that he was demanding everything? We see this everyday - the thugs wanting everything.
Mark my words that this will turn into a "racism" charge. Mark my word. He will be whining, as usual, that they are "picking on him" only AND ONLY because he's black. Cough, cough! |

he got it twisted the store sign didn't say 7/11 it said star bucks-.

Unreal! That cop definitely got what he deserved!

What would David Letterman say?
