Well, here is a subject that I am "prejudice" about. Why because of two special men in my family:

Richard A. Whiteleather, United States Marine Corps, Okinawa

Russell J. Whiteleather, United States Marine Corps, Vietnam

They did their duty to God and Country, to God be the Glory.

I was doing some "research" about the Marines and ran across this "OLD stanza" to the Marine Corps Hymn:

Admiration of the nation,
we're the finest ever seen;
And we glory in the title
Of United States Marines.

First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine.

The chorus to this wonderful Song is majestic. "First to fight for right and freedom and to keep our honor clean." That's America, To the glory of God and the envy of the world.

Thanks to God for "MY" Veterans. I salute you, My dear Brothers.

Very encouraging Ruth Ann and I agree. Now, since we honor and love all these brave men that hobble around with wounds of war can we maybe in the bare minimum provide a medical care for them? The V.A. has dropped the ball. It seems we want these people to go fight our wars, build them up with songs of valor and hesitate not to send them on numerous back to back deployments. We also order these fighting me to go to war to fight and KILL but then for some reason send them to Fort Levenworth prison for MURDER. Perhaps the ones that write these patriotic songs, declare these wars and use money that isn't theirs to finance these wars should go fight them as well. Perhaps then if we see a senators son or a presidents nephew have to go do his part for the lucrative lifestyle they soak up in this country then perhaps wars would cease. One thing for sure, take God out of the equation and wars would probably be almost non-existent. My position is if my God has a problem with some other God then let those Gods slug it out. I mean, why ask mere mortals to go fight the fight in the name of a nameless God?

I believe you are being honest in this post.

Our Veterans should have the best that America can offer. I told Wamp's office after Katrina that the issuing of the "charge cards for $2000.00" to that bunch proved the same could be done for our Veterans. No more Veteran's Hospitals, clinics, waiting in line and so forth, with the Veterans Charge card, all that a grateful people could offer in regards to medical provisions to these men and women who have done their duty to God and Country would be available, anywhere. That is reasonable. Veterans are not "Welfare recipients" they have done their duty to God & Country and it should be Federal government level responsibility.

Now, to this theological question that you pose. There is only one God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth. The false gods and false religions originate with the devil, who hates man. God has made man in His image, God expects us to diligently seek Him. God has given us the Bible. We have what is called Free will. The Christian religion is not "FORCE", it is an intelligent act of a rational man to seek God. God has made all of the provisions and why would we turn down this free gift of God????
Remember, "God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." What more can He say than what He has said in the Bible.

Remember this, too, it is the prerogative of God to have men as co-regents, ruling and reigning together under the Ten Commandments of God. God is not a pacifist. God controls the life and breathe of all mortals. God is sovereign, omniscience (knows everything), omnipresent (is everywhere), and omnipotent (all powerful).

It is the will of God that all men should repent and be saved and live lives that glorify Him.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
