Are there any ghosts in Dayton?

I own a Paranormal Investigation group outside of Dayton. I know Dayton has a lot of history, yet I don't know if there are any ghost stories surrounding the city. I'm always looking for new places to hunt so if anyone knows of somewhere, give me a shout. I know there's a lot of history there. I suppose there could be some activity. I doubt they'd let us in though...

I agree with you there. I am more worried about the monkeys decendants that were born here and are so attached to the monkey tree they can't exist nowhere else.

We can only hope they stay in Dayton and don't stray too far. ;-P

Have you asked around in sale Creek. It is south of Dayton but in Hamilton County. See if you can seek out Curtis Coulter and ask him if he knows of any ghost in that area. He has writtern some books about the area and his family. He has done some extensive research.

Yes a diatant cousin and a great storyteller. I happen to remember that Georgiana Kotarski wrote a book on ghosts in the area about 2 years ago. Can't remember if any were in the Dayton area or not nor can i remember the name of the book. I just remember it was a good little book to read. She works at Chattanooga State Technological College Bledsoe/Sequatchie Campus. She might be a good contact for you. She lives in Pikeville.

We did get a call from someone who has a cabin along the trail of tears and they said at night you could hear drums and chanting. That one sounds interesting.
