You do not begrudge me, yet in all of the offenders you talk about here on Topix not one other poster's name is used here. Please, if you are going to lecture, address the person that used a christian woman's very own name to condascend, demean, and curse her. I would say that is the type of person you truly need to address. I appreciate your comment though and still stand firm on my opinions of those that post here and behave the way that person did.

Been there, in fact twice, 1 over a sound system, might I say the carnival music was still louder. Here the FACTS, during the Strawberry Festival, I was driving my car down mian street, w/ windows down(a/c dont work), this Jordan cop came RUNNING not driving ,up to me saying pull over, so I did, now if my system was so LOUD, how the hell did I hear him??Go to court, Judge starts smarting off (very 1st case to hear), then the DA(district asshole), states that I need a mental test, because I tell them that AIR FLOW if it is correct will NOT break car windows, so then I have to pay a 150.00 ticket, oh but there was another case the same as mine, but this boy didnt have to pay, because he had NO JOB, I do, he got community service for a weekend, I got got a fine.Oh, my brother who has medical issues ,was taken to court over 10 days of being absent w/ a medical note, there was a girl there who also had missed 99 DAYS of school, oh but her daddy is a paramedic, huh, go figure. Yes, I sgree, there needs to be change in Rhea County, but who has the balls to change it? Sometimes you can even see the JUDGE , BARON, DUNN, and a few others at bars and hotels.

And, I suppose if you knew who the bad mouths were on here you would walk up to them on the street and tell them what you have said here as well face to face right? A lot of times on Topix it isn't the issue that is the issue, it is the person that is the issue. Actually, March, if I knew who some of the people were on here making the comments that I find offensive and unfair, yes, I would address them face-to-face. That's how I roll; I'm known for being straight-forward.

But I'm not friends with June Griffin, nor do I attend her church. That doesn't mean it should be open season on her or Ruth Ann by any means. It simply means I'm not going to stand up for either of them. They put themselves out there so they can fight their own battles. And for that matter, so can Judge McKenzie. But I am friends with some of his family members and I can't imagine how these topics make them feel. Bottom line is if people who post so negatively and viciously on here can sleep at night, carry on. After all, who am I to judge?

Your right about everything you said. You know some people have to work closely to these people and still CAN'T stand them. In this town it's all about who you are or who your kin folks are or how much money you have to give them for EASY times! People don't be so dumb founded and not believe the truth about these people. If you know them in certain ways and their work ethnics, you'd be amazed seeing them in action as I have seen them!!! Makes you sick!!

You are right on one point - I am scared to put my real name here just to have people (anonymous people) attack me, my family, my child, etc. But don't draw parallel lines here. I'm not afraid of any politician or elected official - I have "my say" when I vote. And if I have a problem with a politician or candidate or I disagree with them, I tell them directly to their face. I've had candidates call my home asking for my vote and I have told them point blank that I had no intentions of voting for them (if that was the case). I do not have a problem with people posting grievances here - that's what this forum should be for - but back it up with factual evidence, don't make personal attacks on the individual or his/her family. Anonymity makes everyone brave but it should not erase your conscience or your sense of right and wrong.

Well said, disgusted. Realistically, had it not been for anonymity we would had never revolted against the British over 200 years ago. Imagine, had the Brits known who was financing, planning, plotting, stirring up the flaming passion to be rid of oppression the few that stood on the hill shouting their names would had been gathered up, made example out of and hanged. Being anonymous is powerful. I can place a sign for anyone in my yard and swear to vote for that candidate but behind the scenes cost that same person 10 votes as I "anonymously" VOTE and speak out against him.
I bet I could say things that could prove Rhea County citizens are deeply oppressed and that only a meer handful were the ones doing the oppressing and most would agree with me under the "Devil" name or any other name. Should I announce the same exact words and attach my real name to them, then I would be savagely attacked verbally and my words be twisted and called crazy. I have accepted that is the way it is so anonymously, I say what I think needs said.

Is it true that there is a sign posted on the court room door banning any video or audio devices? If so, does anyone know if any judge has the authority to "close" off public courtrooms to the public in such way? If there is no record, no transcipt or anything of what he says, then how can his court room actually be open to the public? I understand that some proceedings like juvenile court are not supposed to be open to the public nor a record kept. http://www.judicialwatch.org

yeah, it's true. The sign is posted ( or at least used to be )... and for obvious reasons: so no one can record his sorry ass cussing people and acting like the spoiled brat he assuredly was as a child. It's funny you mention Juvenile Court being closed. McKenzie does not close juvenile court, at lease he didn't a few months ago when I happened to be there because some punk kid had stolen some of my property. You can tell McKenzie's sits his short pudgy ass up there on the bench and thoroughly ejnoys whene he gets to cuss somebody or gets a laugh at his crass jokes and even dumber comments. That's what this forum is all about, being able to state your own personal opinion about matters even if some doesn't like it or not. People need to face the facts that if you choose a job where you're voted into that job, then you have to set back and be judged even if you like it or not! That's just the way it is, always has been, and always will be!

I don't know about his DUI's but I do know by sitting in court with an aquaintance that he was cursing and belittling people and in front of some children that were there. He would laugh when he cursed and would get loud. I understand the stress that comes from being in a position like that but to curse and talk ugly with small children present? If he was a God fearing man, I don't think he would resort to that.

Word is that his honor actually used the "f" word--outloud-- in juvenile court, with kids around, in past couple of weeks. I also understand that Will Dunn was in the court room when this happened. If anyboy else would have used the "f" word, they would have went to jail. Anybody else here anything?
