Here comes the "FORCE"

>"Both the House and Senate bills gradually would extend coverage to nearly all Americans by providing government subsidies to help pay premiums. The measures would bar insurers' practices such as charging more to those in poor health or denying them coverage altogether.
>
>All Americans would be required to carry health insurance, either through an employer, a government plan or by purchasing it on their own."
>
>This came from an AP story!!!!!! "gradually would extend coverage" (we're from the government and we're here to help YOU) in the next paragraph the word "REQUIRED" synonym for "FORCE".
>
>Ms. Snowe from Maine gets a "trigger option". How about a "LEAVE US ALONE" option. Definition of the "LEAVE US ALONE" OPTION - "Those who do not want to participate do not have to." Also known as the "FREEDOM OPTION"

Is health care the REAL issue or is it much deeper than that? Realistically, does the federal gov. really want us to live longer? To grow old and live a remainder of a life in good health collecting social security we have paid into for 40 years worth of labor? The answer is NO.

Do federal workers, public officials, Bob Vincent (Ihear his insurance is illegally gotten btw) and every other public worker, why can't we have the same sort of options? Can I have a senators insurance plan? Hell, can I become a mayor and tell my city attorney to go suck a donkeys ass when she tells me that I can't vote myself insurance coverage but do so anyways? I understand what you are saying Ruth Ann but the problem may also be the extreme cost for care. Walk into a doctors office with a sore throat the doc walks in taps here, taps there, listens here, listens there and writes a script of neds. Then you are billed $149 for 10 minutes of "care". So maybe it isn't just insurance it is the high cost the medical providers charge insurance whereas we are stuck with an astronomical balance due. Just like attorneys, no wonder prisons are full because who can possibly mounty a $100,000 defense to stay out of jail? I say roll the loaded dice and either way you toss them you end up with snake eyes and you lose. Then again, we can always get so broke and once homeless commit a couple good crimes so the county and/or state can fix our medical problems under the "go to jail get free medical option".

The question of the "Fluff policies" of the legislators comes to this. Most "conscientious doctors and medical personnel" have stated that they will "retire". They will not be "second guessed by young, smart aleck bureaucrats in Washington" about the medical decisions concerning "their" patients.

No conscientious medical personnel, no hospitals with excellence, no research, if the "quality is gone" what would matter what type of "Fluff policy" a legislator may have. "Mediocrity" will be the only service available!!!!!!

So pursuing this National Health Care will end "quality and excellence" for everyone. As has been the result of the socialization of Health
Care everywhere it has been tried. Check the record in England and Canada, the system of "mediocrity" can not solve the "hard cases", those are sent to the United States where our research is better because of the "incentives" in our Private system. When our Health Care system has been "amalgamated with the world" the excellence will NOT be available to anyone at any price.

The "Mediocrity" medical system as you describe sounds horrible in reading your first hand discription of it. So, you personally have recieved this "Mediocrity" health care from England or even Canada or are you like the super majority that act as part of the water canal of information or misinformation? Remember, GOSSIP itself is a form of information.

Are you a veteran? Do you use the VA clinics and hospitals peppered across this nation? Are those facilties not government run? As a veteran, I can attest that the system could be better but it could also be much, much worse such as NO HEALTH CARE AT ALL. With that said, I bet YOU have insurance and have financial resources to PAY for this top notch medical care???

So as long as YOU have insurance the hell with those that don't? Are you a government employee on any level and have government paid insurance and if so, does that make that type of benifit "socialized"? The cold war is over, the lynching of blacks is over and the white guys have run the nation into the ground and will hop on a boat to Europe just as the white guys (with the money to afford it) hop on a boat from England a few centuries ago.

Does government supply and govern police? Based upon YOUR theory concerning government run medical care being a "Mediocrity" does that explain YOUR same socialism mentality with police? If anything, a government police power can strip the common citizen to nothing-ness in a heart beat. Is your local judge a "Mediocrity" as well, a tiny tyrant of a tiny town? The list goes on and on until the day someone gets sick of it and realizes we all face the grave anyways and snaps only to go lock and load and take a whole bunch of "Mediocrity" with them?

So Ruth Ann, I say you have insurance that can pay premium care and even as a proclaimed Christian you say "I got mine the hell with the rest of you". The same can be said with police, a judge or any person of so called power over you to proclaim "I have my power the hell with you lowly people". See Ruth Ann, you are just like them yet are too blind to realize that you are like a sheep slowly herded to your own slaughter.

In closing, I will say a special prayer for God to remove your blinders in the form of you losing your job or your type of health insurance. I will pray that you be forced to walk among those in which you criticize. Just like the lady that created the MADD program, it took the death of her child at the hands of a drunk driver to snap to attention. Same goes for any victimized person, once they feel the pinch of reality then that "oh, if I can only help or save one person it will be worth it"... So live happy in the unrealistic land of the Internet emails.

She just writes what someone else tells her to. We are not as ignorant as she is-we can make up our own minds. I don't work for the government and I am not a Vet. I have had to buy Cobra insurance before and the last time it costs over $900.00 a month for 2 people!

The answers from Independent Voter and real Southern girl are absolutely absurd.

When you "make-up your own minds" I am curious how you do that without the collection of facts????

What did my post have to do with "gossip"???? I heard the testimonies of Conscientious Medical personnel who have declared what they plan to do- "RETIRE". They will not be "second guessed by government bureaucrats" on decisions they make regarding their patients. They are conscientious and do not want to jeopardize their patients with these "FORCED" rules and regulations of this National Health Care. This isn't speculation. According to them it is reality. It is their testimonies and they have their "professional careers" at stake and I reckon they know what is coming.
Get a copy, and read the "goobly-goop", if these people are in error, you go out and correct their errors.
Don't argue with me!!!!!

This is in the bill. It will "FORCE" everyone to have insurance or you will be fined and go to jail.
This is in the bill. The Constitution does not allow this. This "provision" is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

I don't know what goobly-goop you are reading Lady. I am intelligent enough to understand to understand the facts. I will keep right on paying for my health insurance and so will you. There are plenty of people who can't pay for.

Oh and by the way, doctors didn't especially accept Medicare when it was introduced. Also, did you check with all of the doctors in this country? Get your own damn facts straight!

Do you know this??? The Goobly-gook that I refer to is the Health Care Bill. You do know it passed the House of Representatives - Federal Level last Saturday night. It isn't a finished Bill so by the Grace of God, perhaps, America will be spared this destruction.

But by the way, this has been in affect for a number years and I thought it might be something you don't know about. You could "get busy" trying to REPEAL this.

I printed this from the Internet, but I know it to be correct. I have complained to Congress about this for a long time but it seems "to fall on deaf ears". You might be more effective in your petitions.

Ms. Real Southern Girl , I believe S/S was originally designed as a supplement to your regular retirement . It has been perverted and made almost insolvent by Liberal Democrats trying to buy votes with their supposed largess . I totally agree and understand your frustration and anger . If I have learned anything through my many years of living in the US and abroad , it is this , NEVER but Never depend on the government to look out for your best interests , they ALWAYS put their own and their political parties best interests ahead of their countries best interests.

With your attitude I am suprised that you SAY you work.It looks like you would want your government to be a little more FAIR to the working person, and a little MORE responsible with the SPENDING of our hard earned money.

There isn't enough money to fight this worthless War on Terror either is there? In fact, being over 11 trillion in debt what makes you think there is money for anything? You people need to try to remember all that stuff your grannies and grandpappies tried to teach you and learn to live off what you can scrap by on. How many people reading this have over extended credit cards, or near bankruptcy? Folks, the sky is falling and keep right on believing what these good christian family men tell you when trying to soak up your votes in 2010. The country is BROKE, the damn state is sure a shit BROKE, we all know the county is BROKE and the only real jobs are the public sector jobs. Folks, YOU ARE BROKE. If we do not need a pblic option then does the police, Bob Vincent and all other public workers need PUBLIC PROVIDED INSURANCE THAT YOU PAY FOR? Notice how there never is enough money for everyone else to have a public assisted insurance but we can pay over 1 million a year in insurance premiums for Bob Vincent to treat a preexisting cancer and Bobby Doss's morbidly obesed ass.

One day when you hit bottom you will still be forced to pay a tax so the "haves" of the public sector can have theirs. Remember all this when a cop drives a new car while you walk. Remember this when he idles away shitloads of gas while your tank is on empthy. Remember this when Bob Vincent talks on a cell phone YOU bought for him while you have a prepaid trackfone at best. Yep, one day maybe half you people can pull your heads from your ass long enough to convince the other half to do the same. Then you can join together and put these "public option-public scrappers" out to pasture. So when Vincent's old ass cancer puts him in the hospital the 1 million in premiums will increase, he will be treated, he will not have a copay and YOU will be forced to pay it because he and 2 others like him say so.
If you do not work in the public sector then dare stand and say I am wrong.

So when you're 65 can we divide your retirement social security? You sound almost half stupid! Besides, you must have one hell of a job. Is your name Maxine Vincent?

You have just written a real truth that we all hate to be reminded of. As they say, they do attach U-Hauls to caskets and none of anything goes with you. Why do rich people insist on having more. I swear, I remember shopping at Red Food Store(back then before it became Bi-Lo)and there was a small framed young man, probably close to 18, he pushed our cart out and as I watched him unload our groceries from the cart into the trunk of my car a strange feeling came over me. I only had $5 left and it was in my right front pocket and once he was done and started to leave I told him to wait. I told him I have no idea why I feel the need to do what I'm about to do but I felt the need to give him that $5, and I reached into my pocket and gave it to him. That was almost 30 years ago and I can still remember the simple gleam of surprise on that young fellows face and still to this day I think about that cold night.

I understand that we need to "get ours" but why do we really need to trample others in the process? Can not our police, our judges our officials use their broad discretion and have a heart? To use their jobs to do good will have a rolling effect where others will do good. Like taking a magnet and touching it to a screwdriver the screwdriver becomes "magnatized" and for just a few sort moments enjoys what it is to be a "magnet". So if properties can project from one metal to another, then can they not spread from human to human? Sure they can. We all have a heart but it's so easy to lose that heart when we seek to live by our greed and self righteousness instead of what our heart tugs at us so gracefully to do. Afterall, being positive takes no more energy than being negative.

Just remember this - Charity is to operated by you, with your stuff. It is not the business of the government to be the "benefactor".

A Constitutional Republic has a Constitution whereby the "elected officials" are bound by Oath to God not to exceed the boundaries of that Constitution. The government has no authority to exercise charity - that is between you and your neighbor.
