Putting words in other people's mouths again....INTERESTING. Never said people shouldn't be involved in meetings. those are your words you are putting in other people's mouths.
So now I am confused. FIRST you said I was making up stuff when it came to you believing people should attend meetings, asking questions, getting involved. NOW you say I am putting words in your mouth by suggesting otherwise. THEN you just posted this;

So which is it? I am making things up? Am I putting words in your mouth? Did YOU just not post this; "People absolutely should attend meetings and be involved." I'm so confused...lol.

The meetings I am referring to are the non-public meetings that Weideman attends on behalf of Petroni and Rigano.(Meetings outside of the BOE meetings.) Those are the meetings that he attends acting as their "pitbull".
So I ask again; So speaking at meetings makes him a "pitbull" how? Being involved in the process makes him a "pitbull" how? What does that make Craig Colston? Lisa Babb's pitbull? What does that make Tiffany Carlisle, Debbie Christian, and Tina Schrof? Lisa Babb's pitbulls with lipstick? I have seen them "in action" at meetings and Mr Weideman can't carry a torch to them when it comes to being someones "pitbull".

And again...FWIW, I think you missed my original point.

Which you "suspect"? LOL You know what Elvis said about Suspicious Minds don't you:

"Why can't you see
What you're doing to me
When you don't believe a word I say?

We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
And we can't build our dreams
On suspicious minds

So, if an old friend I know
Drops by to say hello
Would I still see suspicion in your eyes?

When honey, you know
I've never lied to you"

Okay...just to be clear that I understand this;

The district is now under 3 separate investigations involving monies deriving from our sports programs.

1) The IRS investigation of the Athletic Boosters.

2) The prosecutor’s investigation of at least one officer of the Athletic Boosters.

3) The State of Ohio Auditors office opening an investigation of how our district, coaches, AD's etc handled monies for sports camps held on our campus. What triggered this one announced last night? Were district rules broken? Were State laws broken?

So to be clear, can someone tell me why there is so much animosity of those that are CURRENTLY on our BOE? What have they done to deserve the wrath that has been constantly spewed in their direction?

Why are people not giving the kudos they deserve for having to endure the hot spotlight of these investigations that are the result of a lack of oversight by their predecessors?(Sans Anderson…he quit)

People are very quick to throw blame at certain members of the CURRENT BOE, but are very slow when it comes to placing blame for those that were actually in charge when PAST transgressions occurred.

Is it because those that are quick to cast stones now and were too inept to see what was actually happening THEN (ex: NFSS) are still too inept to see what is happening right in front of them NOW?

What one single thing has THIS board done that has people so upset?

You really are funny - You have a great sense of humor! But yes, you are confused. Please re-read. I stated that Weideman is their "pitbull" at meetings outside of the regular BOE meetings. Don't care what he says in PUBLIC meetings (I do, but I don't for sake of this argument). Its what he says at meetings that aren't held in public. When Wiedeman meets with individual groups, on behalf of Petroni and Rigano, outside of the public eye. That's where he is the pitbull.

Notice I did not qualify which meetings? Is he not suppose to be involved in meetings outside of public BOE meetings? Is he not allowed to give support to people he believes in? Do you think Lisa Babb does not “meet” regularly with supporters that speak on her behalf at non-public BOE meetings? Hell, IMHO, Lisa Babb actually believes she is on the current BOE. She constantly sends them “notes”, aka talking points, to her closest supporters. So are those people I mentioned above, IYO,“pitbulls” too? They all speak on the behalf of Lisa Babb at all kinds of “meetings.”

Look into some of the antics they (add to the list Mr Maney and Mrs. Villamagna) have PROUDLY pulled in the effort to help get Lisa Babb elected and/or discredit those that oppose her. See how you define “pitbull” then...Pack of mad dogs might be more appropriate...lol

In these "meetings" - Weideman acts as he is on the BOE also......he is not currently on the BOE last time I checked - which my guess is, he will be appointed to take Anderson's spot....however, no he shouldn't be acting in an "official" capacity as representing the BOE, as he is not currently on the BOE. But in these meetings, he acts as if he is representing the BOE. Giving "support" as you say, is different than acting like he has some kind of real authority.

Your argument does not stand. There is simply no right way to do the wrong thing. It's ok to have nothing to say; unless you insist on saying it.

....acting like he has some kind of real authority?...
you mean, like Lisa Babb has acted since the first of the year showing up at every meeting with cameras and "former BOE members, former school employees and former school board candidates to distract, discredit and personally attack our BOE majority members agenda of children first budgeting and transparency?
All the long hours of unpaid service to our school children and community given by the BOE committees since the first of the year;
and then Lisa Babb has the "pit-bullish" arrogance to stand up at the July 24th BOE meeting and suggest that the BOE (of which Lisa Babb is NOT a member) should consider giving the school treasurer
more money!
We need Mr. W. to remind bully babb that she is out of order when she "acts" like she has equal authority of an elected official, when she clearly has no official authority nor common sense nor respect for herself or others!

Are any of these levy supporters/ boohoohoo you're changing my world people just a little embarrassed now?

They should be. If I were wearing black, protesting against changing the guard that took advantage of everyone for the last ten years and now I find out that the change agents were right and we were all taken advantage of, I would be embarrassed about my behavior and cower in a corner. I am so tired of "the sky is falling" group that when they say one word to me again I will now tell them off instead of letting them vent only hoping they change the subject and stop making themselves look stupid.

Now, will ministers go back to their pulpits and apologize for persecuting the innocent or do they need more evidence? I remember the movie "Top Gun" "You don't want to know the truth, you can't handle the truth".

IMO this board ought to re-appoint Gentry Ellis into Anderson's seat. In this way the board would be maintaining an internal chemistry of checks and balances. Besides, it's a safe chance to take. Last November, Ellis proved that she probably has next to no chance of getting a board seat via the way of the ballot box.

You forgot "demean", "avoid" and all the other descriptive words you typically use....

Ok - I guess I will have to - for the 4th time now, try to answer your question....I will attempt to speak slower and more descriptive this time.

He.....is....their...."pi tbull".....because.....he acts like he has some BOE authority in these meetings (again, non BOE public meetings). How it works is - you send your "pitbull" out to meet with groups.....then if anything goes wrong or something comes back to bite the "owner" (you should appreciate that play on words)....you can blame the "pitbull" who sent the message.

Relating this to others isn't really the same, because while those people you mention may or may not think they are on the BOE - in fact they are not. And certainly speaking out at a public meeting, is not the same as representing yourself in meetings as speaking for the BOE.

Is Craig Colston, Babb's "pitbull"? Sure, I guess. But Colston doesn't, and cannot represent himself in any meetings as espousing BOE policy or opinion as Weidemen typically does. But like I said previously - I guess soon he will get to as a BOE member once he is appointed.

So YOU are suggesting that certain BOE members send Mr. Weideman to other meetings as their secret proxy? What kind of meetings are you talking about?

Hogwash. Perhaps he is just a concerned citizen that happens to have the same values and interests as the people he voted for.

So you do admit Mr Colston is Lisa Babb's pitbull...what about the others?

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Gemini

A little give and take goes a long way, so try to be flexible and malleable when dealing with others. It will also pay to ask people what they think rather than to make sweeping assumptions on their behalf, because you could be in for a surprise. A child may have some interesting information for you, or they could make a statement that really sets you thinking.
