Okay...just to be clear that I understand this; The district is now under 3 separate investigations involving monies deriving from our sports programs. 1) The IRS investigation of the Athletic Boosters. 2) The prosecutor’s investigation of at least one officer of the Athletic Boosters. 3) The State of Ohio Auditors office opening an investigation of how our district, coaches, AD's etc handled monies for sports camps held on our campus. What triggered this one announced last night? Were district rules broken? Were State laws broken? So to be clear, can someone tell me why there is so much animosity of those that are CURRENTLY on our BOE? What have they done to deserve the wrath that has been constantly spewed in their direction? Why are people not giving the kudos they deserve for having to endure the hot spotlight of these investigations that are the result of a lack of oversight by their predecessors?(Sans Anderson…he quit) People are very quick to throw blame at certain members of the CURRENT BOE, but are very slow when it comes to placing blame for those that were actually in charge when PAST transgressions occurred. Is it because those that are quick to cast stones now and were too inept to see what was actually happening THEN (ex: NFSS) are still too inept to see what is happening right in front of them NOW? What one single thing has THIS board done that has people so upset?

I stated that Weideman is their "pitbull" at meetings outside of the regular BOE meetings. Don't care what he says in PUBLIC meetings (I do, but I don't for sake of this argument). Its what he says at meetings that aren't held in public. When Wiedeman meets with individual groups, on behalf of Petroni and Rigano, outside of the public eye. That's where he is the pitbull.

All the long hours of unpaid service to our school children and community given by the BOE committees since the first of the year; and then Lisa Babb has the "pit-bullish" arrogance to stand up at the July 24th BOE meeting and suggest that the BOE (of which Lisa Babb is NOT a member) should consider giving the school treasurer more money! We need Mr. W. to remind bully babb that she is out of order when she "acts" like she has equal authority of an elected official, when she clearly has no official authority nor common sense nor respect for herself or others!

Are any of these levy supporters/ boohoohoo you're changing my world people just a little embarrassed now? They should be. If I were wearing black, protesting against changing the guard that took advantage of everyone for the last ten years and now I find out that the change agents were right and we were all taken advantage of, I would be embarrassed about my behavior and cower in a corner. I am so tired of "the sky is falling" group that when they say one word to me again I will now tell them off instead of letting them vent only hoping they change the subject and stop making themselves look stupid. Now, will ministers go back to their pulpits and apologize for persecuting the innocent or do they need more evidence? I remember the movie "Top Gun" "You don't want to know the truth, you can't handle the truth".

Besides, it's a safe chance to take. Last November, Ellis proved that she probably has next to no chance of getting a board seat via the way of the ballot box.

Relating this to others isn't really the same, because while those people you mention may or may not think they are on the BOE - in fact they are not. And certainly speaking out at a public meeting, is not the same as representing yourself in meetings as speaking for the BOE. Is Craig Colston, Babb's "pitbull"? Sure, I guess. But Colston doesn't, and cannot represent himself in any meetings as espousing BOE policy or opinion as Weidemen typically does. But like I said previously - I guess soon he will get to as a BOE member once he is appointed.
