East Ellijay Police

I was stopped in East Ellijay by the East Ellijay Police and I did get a ticket and I was speeding . The thing I liked was the officer was not a jerk . I dont know if this officer knew but he stopped me about one month ago and gave me a warning , I know I have a lead foot ( LOL ) But I just wanted everybody to know I think the East Ellijay Police make the our county look pretty good .

It's more than just the East Ellijay Police. The cops from Ellijay, the Gilmer deputies and the State Troopers are fantastic human beings.

They have a hard job and don't get paid very well. They do their job every day and deal with the bottom of society knowing that they may not survive the day but they do it anyway.

Officers, you are truly loved!! Thank you so much!!!!

What officer was it?

The officer was S.Bowman , he was very polite and respectful.

Shane Bowman is a great police officer and an incredible guy. very fair and treats people like he wants to be treated himself.

There OK now that Larry Seabolt is gone.

East Ellijay PD are great guys!!

The speed limit is way to fast from McDonalds to the new walmart, Lots of bad accidents in the area, Maybe the GDOT will lower it when enough people are hurt or killed.

Shane Bowman has always been nice guy. Even all through our school years.

Shane is a nice guy. He is very down to earth and seems to be a great officer. Keep up the good work!

They do seem to do a good job AND look good in those uniforms too. When they shoot me with that speed gun my heart just goes pitter-patter. Hard working guys and I'd like to extend my thanks for all their efforts, along with the SO and Ellijay boys and girls too. Actually I belong to the country crew so they are really special to me. I've had to call them a couple of times recently and they were they like lightening. Thanks to all Gilmer in-service personnel. They certainly make me feel safe.
