I'm completely for an indoor ski resort in Atlanta. It would be great to be able to ski without spending $5-10,000 per trip, plus Atlanta could pick up some of the revenue they lose when so many families hope on a Delta flight to Colorado or Utah.

Didn't they shoot down a very similar idea over in Stone Mountain because of the drought? And who would WANT to go to an indoor ski resort? Doesn't that kind of miss the whole point?

Dawsonville, GEORGIA, the whole no gambling thing- Thats it!!!!! Maybe we should move Atlantic City here!!!! Not just a resort, not just the gambling, THE WHOLE CITY! YEAH!! We could also move the pacific ocean, so we would have a beach, and, and, and, YEAH the pyramids in egypt. People, its Dawsonville. You go to Savannah, for Savannah. You go to New York, because its new york, Why, Why, Why would you want to blow up this city? IF it didnt go bankrupt in the first two years, how would this city handle the traffic? Huge population growth, EVERYTHING, would be different. From the traffic, to the crime rate. Is this what everyone really wants? Or, it it just simply a novel concept that may work well.......someplace else.

Hey, I am all for the indoor ski resort. The concept sounds very cool. This area needs some vitalization. I just don't understand these idiots who complain about everything that's being built. And another thing, you don't even live near it. This makes you a bigger idiot. You probably complain about the building of hospitals, grocery stores, pharmacies, fire stations. IF YOU DON'T LIKE, THEN MOVE.

I just say everyone quit whining and just build it in Ellijay! Also I think you all need spell check on your computers. I am one of the biggest advocates of keeping our small country towns small but come on it would help out our economy and create more jobs. As for the crack/meth heads they are able to flip burgers for minimum wage I have seen it many times. Because as they said there will be restaurants for those people to work. The only thing our economy has is construction and as we all know it is DEAD! We need something else. In Ellijay they have the Apple Festival. For those two weekends they have to deal with all kinds of traffic but all the locals know what to do with it and they also know it brings in more revenue for the county and city. i think the ski area is a great idea!!!!

Let's put the ski slope in Gwinette. Let them have the revenue, the traffic and all of the problems associated with over and under planned development. I think it's great payback for the pollution they continue to dump into Lake Lanier.
Let's put the ski slope in someone elses backyard. I have several development options and am looking for, at the most, fifty million dollars US for each. I am all for multiple indoor ski resorts. We want to locate investors for such projects waiting now in New Zealand, Finland, Israel, USA, Florida, Brazil, Texas, Houston, Dallas, Austin. We propose to design projects for much less cost than the Dawson concept. Our plans are more realistic and begin with a Feasibility and Market Analysis of the proposed location. Your investment dollars are assured a profitable return. For a profile, enter Roy Propsner in the Google Search Engine. Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
