Board Members Arrested

Rumor has it that 2 or 3 of the board members at a local bank were arrested by the FBI in the last couple of days. Has anyone else heard about this?

Word is that one Board member shoved a broom handle up a dogs rear and got arrested. Is there anything to that. Please respond .

3 Employees of the bank are being investigated by the FBI. Offices are in lock down and they are not allowed back until investigation is over. I have not heard anything about board members or anyone being arrested.

GCB. It has been said that the employees who are under investigation have had their computers seized.
As far as I know, the individuals in question are "on vacation" until the investigation is over. If you call the bank, that is what you will be told. TN,AT,DD and RB.
My question is this: With jobs so few and hard to find, why would the bank President do anything dumb enough to make him lose his $400,000+ salary?? Can he ever work again in banking- or will he be the next Walmart Greeter?

We got some of this treatment, "shoved up our rearends" by this outfit. We can attest first hand that the upper level officers of the bank are cheaters, and underhanded, and minimum have dealt in unethical if not criminal ways by providing special treatment to "favorites" and "relatives" of the bank employees, especailly the officers in question. What goes around comes around........

Cindy Lou......I just wonder if you have actually talked to the FBI yourself and found this information to be true? If not, you are just contributing to a bunch of gossip that is going around town! Also, do you know for sure that the bank President makes that much? If all this gossip was directed at you how would you feel? The truth always comes out and it is wrong to smear someones good name without knowing for sure there is a reason to do so. You have just listed four individuals by initial which is just as well as naming them. Put your real name on here and then talk about them. As far as your comment about the next wal-mart greeter.......SHAME ON YOU!!! Did you know that right when you posted that comment that the wonderful greeter at our wal-mart had just passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident?!? As for you, you don't sound qualified to take her place.

I also can't help but to think of the child's fable, Chicken Little. So many of you are believing that the sky is falling, but have not seen the pieces falling yourself. Hmmm...in the fable, everyone who believes Chicken Little ends up in the fox den and is eaten. Wonder what that says about you all?

It is very sad that we feed off the gossip on here. Have any of you personally witnessed the events being talked about, spoken with bank personnel or been involved?

I really hope that anyone reading these blogs will take this information with a grain of salt. Until we know a fact, don't go around saying the sky is falling. Even after we do, is it our business to talk? Think about all of the great employees that have to constantly have people questioning them about these RIDICULOUS rumors.

Read article on Google web site dissussed on blogs by Douglas Ott, talks about how its commendable the CEO is being so nice to his bank, and hopes everything works out, but the situatuin looks like a band-aid for a gunshot to the stomach.

How does the CEO get fired? Is he not the boss? So who fires him?

Interesting how none of this information has made it into the local papers or onto any other websites.

I agree with you, why don't folks learn to check out the facts and quit assuming and listening to gossip. Just a suggestion for all of you who need to know go check out Atlant Business Chronicle and maybe you will lean something. Also, who is qualiied to judge anyone else?
