I think they did the best they could with the tools of the time. Without the Internet helping spread the word..not even the best of art work will have an effect. |

They did not have the skills or technology that is availible today. The group who came up with the picture is a non profit group.

MAYBE THIS WOMAN WASN'T KILLED BY WILDER BUT COULD SHE BE THE MISSING BANANA BOAT GIRL WHO WAS RAPED, STRANGLED AND THEN DUMPED OUT WEST AROUND THAT TIME?? CHECK WITH FLPD ABOUT THE NAME OF DENNIS MICHAEL SOCHOR AND HIS BROTHER DEAN OUT OF MICHIGAN.. THE WOMAN WAS PATRICIA ANN GIFFORD (PATTY). PATTY AND GIRLFRIEND BACK I BELIEVE IN 84 WERE AT THE BANANA BOAT ON SR 84 JUST WEST OF I-95. SOCHOR'S WERE ALLEGED TO HAVE DRUGGED HER DRINK AND BROUGHT HER OUT TO THE CAR AND BSED HER FRIEND. GIFFORD WAS A S-8 AND THEY BROUGHT HER TO THEIR APT IN THE 600 BLK OF SW 4 AVE. ONE BROTHER LATER ADMITTED TO MEDIA IN MICHIGAN THAT HE WASN'T THERE FOR THE HOMICIDE, BUT HE WAS FOR THE RAPE....I DON'T REMEMBER SOCHOR EVER LEADING THE POLICE TO GIFFORD'S BODY AS HE CLAIMED YEARS LATER THAT ALL THE BUILD UP OUT WEST MADE HIS AREA UN RECOGNIZABLE... LOOK INTO THIS AS MAYBE THE BODY OS PATTY GIFFORD... |

A deeply dedicated individual and ADVOCATE for those who have no VOICE. Thankfully technology has come such a long way, and Composite sketches have been the reason many UNIDENTIFIED cases have been solved. Unfortunately the general public, "UNLESS" tradgedy touches their own lives by a disappearance,DO NOT want to get involved with helping to IDENTIFY a Jane or John Doe, or search for a Missing Person. THANK GOD there are ADVOCATES like Todd Matthews who "WILL" get involved .Todd is a wonderful major asset to Law Enforcement and Forensics and to families who may never know Todd but will forever remember his name! Hello Det. Stokes I just saw this on the internet and brought tears to my face. I am the brother in law of Patty Gifford. I have been down here since 1981 and knew Patty. For all these years, I thought i might be the only one looking after her down here. I am and continue to be very involved with this case. I believe this is the case I looked into I had Homicide bring hair samples to the ME . The results were negative. What a roller coaster we were on. I know the Det. at the time....Feltgen and a couple of others I live down here Would it be possible to talk to you. How are you connected and how do you know about this case.Patty is still missing!! I agree, I think Gary should be on death row as well!! How did he get away with that anyway? He was a part of it but yet walked away? I married into the Sochor family!!

Julie: What Sochor did you marry for I am also a Sochor and agree that Gary should have not been able to walk away, but I believe according to the transcripts that Gary was granted immunity if he turned State Evidence. |
