You don't have to wear a helmet but I hope he had a motorcycle endorsement on his license.

now lets go after these illegals, go to the ft lauderdale airport and at the rental garage there is a group of drivers called TFC, they are all illegal. they do not pay income taxes, take jobs away from real americans, are lazy, the car rental compines use them because they are cheap labor. contact National, Hertz, Emterprise and ask them. It might be interesting to hear their answers. time for us to take our country back, give the jobs to the people who should have them at a real wage

I'm sorry a 22 year old is dead. Who cares about a stolen motorcycle. I've made mistakes, you've made mistakes; be careful not to wish harm on a fellow human being. This young man may have had greatness awaiting him

What goes around, comes around and this thief got his just reward. One less thief "off the road" now. Next he would have moved up to start stealing cars or trucks or your kid's bicycle.

Probably another crotch rocket.
Doesnt matter to me if the bike was stolen or not. I am a biker. Crotch rocket riders are crazy (most of them) They dont wear the proper clothes, helmets, and they dont follow the rules of the road.

he did when he ran the light on a stolen bike. No one wishs for a theft, but when you get killed doing it everyone enjoys. I'm sure he was about to turn his life around, but now that will be very easy to do.I'm such he will not steal agian, he will always be known as a dirtbag.

Oh what a liberal you are.

This punk got what he deserved. He brought on the action himself. He knew what he was doing, he knew it was wrong, he gambled and he lost.

There was no greatness coming from this trash. The fortunate thing is he was stealing motorcycles and not Hummers. Otherwise the poor girl in the KIA would have been killed.

Take you liberal attitude and camp out in the forest where nobody can hear you, because we don't care.

"He was in possession of the stolen motorcycle," Boulier said. "He was leaving Plantation, heading south. He was probably involved in the stealing of it."

"Unfortunately, crime doesn't pay," he said. "It's very sad."

Well, although it is sad that someone died for whatever reason. Isn't it good that crime doesn't pay?

How can stealing a motorcycle be a mistake? Did the keys accidentally fall into his hands, and he accidentally got on the bike, and accidentally rode off on it? Did he accidentally push the pocket crotch rocket full throttle as he was undoubtably speeding down the road? There's nothing accidental about anything that happened. That's like calling a drunk driving fatality an "accident", there's nothing "accidental" about getting behind the wheel while you're drunk, and nothing "accidental" about taking the life of yourself or someone else while you're driving drunk. Very rarely can a theft be deemed a true accident.

Couldn't be happier, sorry. Every red light, there goes another string of cars and it has to stop. The rules don't apply to anyone, and unfortunately for this guy, the rule of inertia did apply. Another problem off the street, a hundred thousand more to go..

First of all to those who posted comments I want you to know who the real Thomas Sanchez was a.k.a. Tommy. I've known Tommy since he was 15 yrs. old he wasn't a saint but he wasn't a bad person either we all have flaws and we all make mistakes some of us get caught making our mistakes and others dont. That still doesn't mean either of you are any better then he was. Tommy was the kind of person who would give you the shirt of his back if he had to, the kind of person who would help ANYONE in need, a great loving son, brother, boyfriend, and friend he was loved by many and he always will be thats more important than quick judgement from any of those wishing good riddance on a human life. And for those who choose to quote God's words know this in the Bible it states that all sins are judged equally by God so if you steal its the same as killing a person and if you lie its the same as stealing and so on and so forth. What i'm trying to say is this he who is free of sin cast the first stone. Just because you haven't gotten caught doing something illegal doesn't mean you haven't. If you knew God and knew his words and we he calls us to do you know that your no one to judge anyone let alone wish death apon a person or in the famous words of the blogger up there "Good Riddance"
with this I say it all check yourselves daily and thank God your still around and most of all tell everyone you know that you love them because tomorrow isn't promised to you or me!
God bless you all!!!

What world do you live it? It's not about mistakes, it's about the choices one makes. Right or wrong, it's your choice. And if you DON'T know the difference, well you should have your brains spattered all over the road.

Oh, come on, now, N.V., not another, "Gee, he was a good boy...'
Your Tommy was a common thief who stole a motorcycle, ran a red light, was probably speeding, etc; Wanna' bet this isn't the first trouble he's gotten into, folks!
"...he wasn't a saint but he wasn't a bad person either..." doesn't cut it! A thief is a 'bad person.'
And, yes, God is the final Judge, and by taking Tommy he proved what a fair Judge he is...
