AIRPORT EXPANSION IS A WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY.
A city trying to protect it's citizens, even a minority, says volumes about the leaders of that town. Any leader who doesn't want to protect its citizens should not be in service.

Dear Mr. Murphy:

I respectfully disagree. It is FAR from being over! Stay tuned. There is a lot of special interest at money here, but very little in the way of following the law for funding, environmental protections and more..not to mention, the current down trend in operations at the airport and reduced revenue sources! Congrats to those elected offiicials who opt to protect their residents/cities from losses due to this project!

This just goes to prove that not all of the d*ckheads live in Dania Beach.

The $65,000 the Davie Town Council approved for an attempt to halt plans for the expansion is NOT a waste of taxpayer dollars The runway expansion must not a done deal. If Broward County attempts to go ahead to do the south runway expansion it will cost all of Broward residents a lot more than $65,000 for we the people of Broward will be the ones paying for it when it fails to produce the income the commisioners say it will. Look at what is happening in our ecomomy & fuel prices. What is a waste of our money is the Broward county commissioners insisting on using federal & our precious tax dollars on airport expansion when it could be better spent on more important issues like education, water shortages, traffic problems & etc.
