Yep, he wanted them young & dumb cuz no mature woman with a brain would have anything to do with him.

I agree with everything you said; but while this thread was active, anytime anyone hinted at those truths, one risked being attacked by some who thought Crystal was a saint. Yes, it is pathetic she was born into a family such as she was, but that is true of Ronald too; between their drug usage, poor DNA (IMO), and family environment, they didn't have a chance. You can throw 'poor' Misty Croslin in that class of people too. Until this case came up, I was rather naive concerning this subculture in the U.S. I learned a lot; and unfortunately, they are legion. And from what I gather, Crystal's folks allowed Ron to move in with them when she was barely 16 years old; and, they too were druggies and drug dealers.

I think Teresa Neves alowed Crystal to move in with her and Annette...but Marie, Crysta;'s mother seemed to be very lax about allowing her to stay. And wasn't Crystal merely 14? I've forgotten a lot of the "facts" about the case!.
Ron, according to Levi Page's sources, has been in trouble with other prisoners beating him up. He joined a Nazi gang and his swastika hasn't protected him, evidently.

Crystal wasn't born with any brains to spare to begin with, then add the drug abuse to the mix and you have a human barely able to function. And I agree... I don't think she cared that much that Ron had the kids most of the time. We would have seen an entirely different reaction out of her if her attitude was different. After all, to 'see' your children a couple times a month for two days is a heck of a lot easier than it is to have them with you all the time. Besides, she just started over, got pregnant again at the drop of a hat - poor Chloe.

As 'quick on the draw' as Ron was, he wasn't the 'first' lover for Crystal, Misty, or probably most of his girlfriends. To be the 'first' with any gal in that area, a guy has to meet them when they first enter their teens, IMO. I found it (sadly) amusing that some bloggers acted like that he was the one who pulled them down in the gutter; he was certainly no help in that regards, but they probably all had been 'around the block' a few times before he even came on the scene.

we've employed several of these "fertile turtles"
guys that father children by several young gals. Their all the same. They get these gals preggers, the gal goes on public assistance,food stamps,governmnent housing. Then the guy goes from one to another, the gals fight over him and the children do without or granny takes over child care, which is also paid for with our tax dollars.

The guys usually don't seek employment unless they have a court date, and unually shortly after they usually disappear. Too lazy to do anything but breed.

THese ole gals can swallow every other kind of pill, why cann't they get a birth control pill down their piehole.

I hear ya. Many find a way to get on disabilities too, but they still can muster up enough strength to breed. When I worked at the lab, the local authorities here started clamping down on low life lovers. Back in the 1980's when I was having my kids, every time I was in the hospital after childbirth, there were always these guys walking the halls after visiting hours. I could hear them in the halls bragging about their latest youngin' they just produced, but none were married. Sometimes they would get into a brawl, arguing about which one of them was actually the dad. Hospital staff had to throw them out.

Once DNA came into the picture, the whole free breeding process became not quite so funny. They were now given a subpoena to come down to the lab to have paternity tests - some of these creeps fathered as many as ten children a piece. One time I had three women in the waiting room, each with a child under a year old. When the alleged father came in to have his blood drawn (that was the method at that time), all three attacked him at once - we had to call the police.

These Romeos of course try to get out of child support, but by court order, part of their paychecks now go to their children. Some even quit their jobs so they wouldn't have to pay, but even what money they get through welfare or unemployment is also taken from them. To throw them in jail is no help to the children; and of course they try to escape the area and go into hiding so they don't have to be responsible for their own flesh and blood.
