Great. Enable them to keep building, have to continually expand the flood control, and then expect the taxypayers from across the country to pay for it when it fails.

There ya go! Exactly. Get some of the fat farmers off their butts to dig several canals out of the ever-flooding Red River. Farmers already have much of the heavy equipment to do it.
If you let the feds do it, they'll bring the Corps of Engineers in & they'll widen the Red River to look like the Mississippi, taking lots of farm land for flood control. What they should also do is kick Canadian butt. Make them help out. That's where the fricking water came from! |
