OH FOR GOD'S Sake!! Here we go with another LAWSUIT! Look how in the heck do you walk thru walmart or any other store and not see a smelly stinky puddle of vomit?? And then not only did YOU not see it??? You fall while walking thru it??!! Can't work??? Neck and upper back injuries??? To bad she wasn't holding a cup of McDonalds COFFEE in her hand while she fell, then she could have had multiple suits going!! How is walmart at fault??? Did they place the vomit there for her to step in??? Were the employees aware that vomit was left on the floor for them to clean up??? Give me a freaking break!

Good comment Jennifer. Maybe she was running through the aisles to get to all those limited quantity sales items. Don't you just love it? There are any number of people around that just can't wait to file any lawsuit for any reason. Thank God she didn't bump into anyone, she might have sued them too.

So she fell down and got a boo boo. How do we know that she wasn't the one who vomited? Now she's "unable to work"? I just bet.

envious? no just consumers who realize that frivolous lawsuits (which are really nothing more then legalized insurance fraud) do nothing but hurt our economy and raise prices for the rest of us.

What is it about WalMart that makes people puke? The high quality at low, low prices?

Whatever! Walmart needs to take better care of their stores! It is their responsiblity to make sure they have a safe place for people to shop. If you don't know the whole circumstance of a lawsuit, you shouldn't make snide comments. You WATCH and READ way too much news without doing your research! Before you make comments about the McDonald's coffee, you should research what really HAPPENED! DUH!!!

Wal-Mart likely has this on video tape.

- and I'm sure it will show that the woman INTENTIONALLY stepped into and slipped on the vomit.

Then, she should go to JAIL.

I agree with S Coleman....I have recently fell in walmart as well...I was told after i went to the doctor and got a call from there insurance comapany that the store wasnt going to do anything for my pain and suffering from falling on a wet floor with no wet floor signs...I was also told that walmart wasnt at fault unless they knew that it was there....I mean like they are going to admit that it was there fault and they knew about it but didnt clean it I mean come on....I am going to be getting a lawyer and will go to court if i have to....They have it on video and im sure they have her's on there as well...Its just like any company they dont want to pay out unless you push the issue so people got to do what people has got to do....And to the other comment like people dont look where they are walking most people look up when they are walking not down.....So no i didnt see the slick spot on the floor....

I would sue wal-mart for anything and everything. They are a terrible company that should be dismantled. I wouldn't mind taking back some of the money they stole the American people or sweatshop workers. Its the new plantation capitalist slavery. Low prices are no excuse for supporting them and their disregard for fellow man. I will keep a look out for wet floors if i ever set foot in that store. Oh by the way you can sue them for anything there are websites dedicated to it. Who do you think the courts will side with you or this horrible corp.
