why does inyo county have to wait for toxocoligy tests to confirm cause of death? not just on Fox but that Shaleen lady too. Shaleen had knife cuts on her. I say, DUH!!! to Inyo County.

and how do they know the cases aren't related the second they found the bodies when they can't even identify them with out dental records they KNOW they aren't related?? something is amiss up there.

Why didn't the Inyo Sheriff call out for a search as soon as Renee Fox was reported wandering alone and disoriented on Masouka Cyn. Rd.? A beautiful, young, blond woman alone in the desert after her car broke down on the road. Isn't every person on earth precious and worthy of being found immediately when informed my concerned people that encountered her? Sheriff Dept. waited 24 hours to do the search - she was found dead 6 weeks later under very suspicious circumstances. Isn't it a very good possibility if they had immediately went to find her, she would have been found ALIVE? Where is your conscience, Sheriff? Do you have children? What would you want others to do to find yours under these circumstances? Shame on you. She has left a 5 year old son, many family members and hundreds of friends and acquaintances grieving. Why is there no more stories of this death and of Shaleen Duckey? Is no one concerned that there are two women dead up in your area and your priorities are not the find out what happened? Does the press care? I feel the people of Inyo County care - but where is the publicity so that we can get some answers and keep this to the forefront until we find the answers.

I am an angry, sad, grieving family friend.

THIS IS WHAT I WROTE TO THE EDITOR, PUBLISHER & JOURNALISTS OF THE INYO REGISTER AND LONE PINE PAPER:
"I previously wrote regarding Renee Fox and Shaleen Duckey who were abducted and murdered up in Inyo County and have yet to receive a response. While visiting Lone Pine two weeks ago I came across someone associated with the Fire Dept and we discussed these cases. It is now my understanding that a woman was found murdered in the Keough Hot Springs area during the time of the other murders. Why isn't a journalist continuing to follow the case of Renee, Shaleen and now another victim? What is so interesting to me is the fact that the Sheriff won't talk to the families, either, and that there are so many inconsistencies with the Fox story that you could write a book on it,(comparatively speaking). Aren't you there to report the news and if that is the case, why are you not doing so with these cases? It's very suspicious to all of us that know the family, and believe me, there are hundreds of us".
I also sent a link to the Crime Library, which has first hand accounts of Renee's story.
God Bless Renee. May she be at peace in Heaven.

I was so excited to see a news article on Renee today, as I read all the message boards everyday to see if there is any news. I was so disappointed to read the article that says nothing of the way Inyo "stupid" County and it's so called Sheriff's are conducting the investigation of her death. It will be 3 months here shortly for the autopsy reports that should have been done 1 month ago. Its amazing how long an autopsy takes when stupid people are in charge, or guilty of something. What was the whole purpose of the article to tell everyone the same things that we already know, or to find out some answers about Inyo County, that we want to know, because that article did no good. I have also wrote Fox news to ask them to follow up, but no response. I wonder what it will take.

Yeah, Inyo County is really sad, and so is the Inyo County sheriffs department.....I live in Bishop which is about a half hour or so to independence. In 2001 I was a junior in high school, and I was accused of murdering a young man......police could only go by what all the kids at my school were saying, they all said they saw me at the party, and that I ran over him with my grandmas little red honda, and then left him in the road to die. That weekend that it happened I was in Reno, NV with my family....they couldnt believe me though because the police here are either too stupid or are covering up for someone....yes Inyo county is full of small town BS....I never went to trail becasue they were able to get the proof that I was in reno when the "murder" took place, and I also took a lie detector test. But no, everyone still blamed me, a 17 year old girl. So 5 years later the person who really killed him, was finally found (he didnt come foward on his own, they put a warrent out). Basically Inyo County is a joke, and I wouldnt convince anyone to come live here, the only good thing about Bishop and Inyo county is the beautiful surroundings.

Does anyone have any further information in regards to the woman who was found murdered near Keough Hot Springs? When did this happen? Who was she? How was she murdered? Have any suspects been arrested in her death?

If this woman was murdered, logic says there's a possibility that Shaleeen Duckey and Renee Fox may also be victims.

Go to page 5 of this thread (Renee Fox, etc..), regarding the third suspected victim. Very little is known about it. It seems to be a Twilight Zone story up there....

Want answers, Hi, the last article I read on November 2nd was in Crimelibrary. Go to recent features and then scroll down, you will see a picture of Renee and it says "still waiting for test results" That's the latest article that I read, in which I was disappointed, because I thought it was going to tell us something. Let me know if you find it or not.

Thanks, Scotty. I read CrimeLibrary daily as it is the most informative site to keep up on Renee's case, as you must know. As well as honest, let's say in comparison to the INYO COUNTY SHERIFF???

Check this one out. I was just reading Fox news channel 11, and Greta VanSusteren has an article asking "If you have a crime in your home town, tell us about it". I think everyone should jump on this one. If a lot of people do it, I am sure they would look into INYO COUNTY. I will go write something right now.

Scotty, I think you are onto something. I certainly encourage you writing Greta. Her crew did an interview with Renee's family while she was missing, as you most likely know. The journalists for the Inyo Register call the Sheriff's office weekly and can only pass on the information that the officials give them.( I had a conversation with the them via email as I felt they weren't keeping these deaths in the public eye enough). Therefore, a "unbiased" journalist, a credible public journalist that doesn't have live amongst the same local authorities, would have a much better chance of unraveling this mystery....

It would be nice if everyone e-mailed Greta on this. It has been 3 months and 4 days since Renee's body was found, and LONGER since Shaleen's body was found! So far, only the 'locals' speak about that 3rd 'vitim' in the Keough Hot Springs, but no information is given, just that 'it happened'.

one of you might be responsible for these unfortunate incidents, now why would local press and investigating agencies give you info to hinder their investigation?

That is really a ridiculous thing to say. If you read the articles you would know that this story has been going on for months, and the family and friends have no answers.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
