Four men arrested in Delavan standoff

What a surprise. 11 mothers living in 3 apartments, I am willing to bet all illegal. Gang activity has overwhelmed Delavan. Maybe this election will produce leaders who enforce existing laws whether they be immigration violations, weapons possessions and drug trafficking. Delavan is being ovwerrun by illegals and its time to restore sanity before we get another tragedy like the one that happenned next door in 2007.

Actually, I have never heard or read of anything like that in the news, so until proven otherwise that is a statement based on prior events which makes it true!

Look i'm not trying to be a right wing wackjob here, but Delavan has seen a massive inflow of illegals in the past 10 years and coincidentally a large increase in gang activity, robberies, domestic violence and worst of all murders. I own property in Delavan so I am not just someone from Chicago commenting on what i"ve read. I've seen it and been directly affcted by it. Now I hear of this story and it brings me back to June of 07 when another illegal went on a rampage and tore several families apart forever. There should be a path to citizenshipbut there MUST be a way to stop the influx of illegals who drain the budgets of local gov't and produce an inordinate amount of the criminal gang activity.

Illegal white people commit crimes in Delavan too....The polish have a hell of a badass gang in Delavan.

illegal white, brown, yellow, black doesn't matter as far as draining resourses from communities and and all the other problems. my point is that in Delavan the town has been subjected to these problems and it seems that no one in a place of authority wants to address it.

There wasnt 11 mothers. There were 3 mothers and 8 children in a 3 apartment home. So all together there were 11 mothers AND children.

I don't mind from what country someone comes from as long as they come here legally. I can not stand Illegals! I wish our government would take a break from the parties that cost us, the tax payers, thousands of dollars and take the security of our borders seriously. I wouldn't be oppossed to mine fields along the borders along with national guard units along with local licenced U.S. citizens stationed along the borders to pop off anyone coming here illegaly. Call it 'Coyote Huning'.
If someone wants to become an American Citizen then come here LEGALLY, attempt to learn the languege, fly the flag of the country you've joined and not the flag of the nation you just ran from, and pay taxes like everyone else.
