I'll NEVER understand people, they are NEVER happy. People have fought, died, etc. to try to get us to a point where everyone is treated equal (granted we're not totally their yet). They abolished the "back of the bus" era, the "drinking from different fountain era, "different restrooms, school, dances", etc), only to have people go out of their way to keep trying to segregate themselves and whine and b*tch that they aren't treated equally.

so instead of alienating people right off the bat, and labeling THEM as being intolerant, why not avoid the segregative theme in the first place?

It is doubtful that under the best of circumstances, that a theme day centered around Christianity would bring any further tolerance to the table....
I guess I am wondering what the REAL agenda is....

People do not want to have religion, or a political agenda shoved down their throat under the guise of 'amusement'.
If the tables were turned, and some amusement park in say, Saudi Arabia, were to offer an infidel day, I am sure, not many takers would feel too keen on showing up....they would already know the level of intolerance by virtue of the many who must worship their own God in secret if it isn't allah.
This idea has failure written all over it.
You cannot ENFORCE people to be tolerant...just like you cannot ENFORCE people to be nice to each other...
an amusement park shouldn't be toying with such high stake emotions...

If I recall, you are not allowed to bring in your own food - so you have to go out to your car and eat in the parking lot if you want to return to the park. There is no food served at the park that I choose to eat, unless you count cotton candy and popcorn. I would love for them to have a Vegetarian Day, with yummy, non-violent foods for us animal lovers. I just don't see what is wrong with allowing a large group to have food catered in for one day - and to rent the amphitheater. If it were the Polish community, you would have no problem with gobbling down a few kielbasas lol. This article, IMO is meant to incite anger toward Muslims. Thety have been doing a Muslim Day since 2004, so why it is suddenly outrageous? Fear sure does make people turn ugly........

Do you ever notice that when Muslims condemn terrorism they NEVER condemn terrorists.

Muslims are always first in line to condemn non-Muslims for anything. But the most hateful thing I have herd from a Muslim about Osama bin Lauden was they didn't respect him.

I wonder how you reconcile this kind of leader into your 'religion' when just above you supposedly are quoting from your muslim holy book, and denouncing this kind of behavior....how is it then, that the muslim community at large would support and follow a hamas leader like this?
I think if you want to live in this country, you should be willing to die for it....ie, should be willing to join the military if called upon, and support these very freedoms that you have so comfortably come to enjoy.

It's not a lie that this goes on. In fact, when I lived in the Chicago area, SEVERAL muslims were arrested for having a bakery that was really a front for their Hamas terrorist organization. One of the main ones arrested was a LEADER in the local mosque there...(there are over 300 mosques in the chicago area, of which I am sure, you are aware.)
So, please tell me, how you reconcile all this against your 'peaceful' religion.
