Bonnie is not the only overweighed person in BB, but Claar is the only one in BB who is invisible for the police radars and patrols, for sure.
One day he is going to kill someone and what would you say then? That may be YOUR daughter, husband or mom.
BTW, I love his plates. Do they say right-of-way?

I do not wonder he has not been arrested for DUI since 1998 again. He is easily recognized by his funny plates and no policeman will repeat the same mistake as the one from 1998.

It is a matter of maturity (or lack of). We have all seen it before. When someone has no ammunition to try and prove a point or win an arguement they resolve to insults.

You typically see these tactics in elementary school.

Right... The only time Bonnie is distracted is when the Ice Cream truck rolls by her house. Lord help the children in her path when she makes the mad dash to the truck.

What about it? Are you that stupid as to think there is not a contingency plan in place. I think we would be lucky if our property taxes only doubled in ten years, what was the rate 10 years ago?

Put down the comic books for a minute and take a look through the last couple of years of the village financial statements. Then, come talk to me.

Yes, there is a contingency plan and the taxpayers of Bolingbrook are it.
Roger got his state-of-the-art, money-losing golf course and the taxpayers are left holding the bag.

And if you seriously think that you'd be lucky if your property taxes only DOUBLED in ten years, then you are seriously deranged. Ask your neighbors how much they'd love to have their property taxes doubled to pay for the Rog Mahal and see what they say.

The city was ranked as the 32nd best place to live in Money magazine, take a look for yourself.

Compare the village of Bolingbrook to the towns around it and tell me that all is wrong. The community has boomed in the last 7-8 years and we have some nice amenities as a result.

You can point out the golf course as a failure, I personally love it. Would you say the the hospital and new shopping mall are failures also?

Bank loan rates continue to fall and I would expect a conversion from a balloon payment into something else more palatable soon.

Truthfully, I have no problem with taxes going up, I believe it will have a direct effect on the town ridding itself of some of the undesirables.
