my in laws didnt work got 600/month food stamps, 750/rent paid and medical cards. no one was disabled they had 2 kids. they didnt work one lick and got bck 5 grand on taxes bc they filed the low income head of household self employed and they made low enough to not pay in but get a return. they spent everybit on pills in 1 week. they also had 11 dogs in there house. beautiful home and they ruined it. the only reason i wont turn them in bc they have 2 teenage kids that would go without clothes and school stuff and food. surprisingly the kids are honor roll students. the government gave them this stuff bc the went all thru the winter of 09-10 without electric bc they would not work. the son told his teachers they only hd one light bulb in the whole trailer that the mom made him steal from the neighbors porch. they also made the kids steal tp from a gas station bathroom. my inlaws refused to help them even the kids bc they were stealing to get their food and clothes and school supplies. and the parents go to about 5 or so churches each winter to get their kids namebrand clothes and stuff. now the father got disability for a pain disorder from pill abuse since he ruined his natural endorphines doing mass quantities of pain pills and meth. now they get all that plus 674/month in ssi. the wife was never made to work. their oldest just turned 18 and their daughter is 15. the girl told me her mom told her it would be ok if she had a baby bc it would help the family get more money. thankfully the girl wants to go to college. their house is awfully stinky but not messy so the section 8 pays.
