Bull crap

I bought a universal laptop charger at Office Depot, the package said it would work with my laptop. I bring it home TAKE it out of the package and it doesn't work! I take it back to the store and they won't give me my money back! They gave me a gift card because it was opened. How in the world am I going to know it doesn't work if I don't open it?? I called thier corprate office and that did NO good. Now I'm stuck with a $105 gift card for Office Depot. Don't spend your money there once they get it your sure as hell not getting it back!

That is bull crap! They are WAY over priced to! You can buy most of what they have for a fraction of the price.

I Christmas shop early, and bought my daughter a laptop in there is September. When she was displeased with this computer and I tried to exchange or return it the day after Christmas, they told me about the 15 day return policy.This really pissed me off since it was a Christmas present and she opened it on Christmas morning. That store is one big rip off. I will never shop there again and advise everyone to do the same.

People...Every store has their own return policy and when you make a purchase you need to pay attention to what their policies are. Very few stores will rarely take a return 3 MONTHES after it was purchased, regardless whether it was Christmas present or not...even walmart will not take a return after that length of time if it is no longer in their computer. Most store policies will not give cash back for an opened item unless it was damaged or broken.

I agree about Office Depot being over priced, but you can't blame them for abiding by their return policy that you failed to become aware of in the first place.
