Rose and Walter were among those honored last Wednesday night by Community Teamwork as "Local Heroes." They truly do God's work.

It is nice to know that there are still people out there that have charity in their hearts. But charity is not the right word, because I am sure that they will agree, what they receive is much more than what they give.

What a beautiful , touching story. Very well written, gives you the feel and heartache felt by all on an empty stomach. How wonderful to help others for nothing in return expect for a warm heart and good spirit. I will help any way I can.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Leo

There's an erratic quality to the day, thanks to the Full Moon in emotional Cancer, combined with a lunar eclipse. Loved ones are likely to behave in ways you hadn't counted on. The only way to cope with this is to be as flexible as possible. Someone might change an arrangement at the eleventh hour so you have to think on your feet, or others may be determined to do their own thing even though it doesn't suit you. Get any arguments out of the way quickly so you can enjoy your New Year's Eve celebrations with a glad heart.
