Pillar of society this guy!

harging him with harassment, terroristic threats and stalking related to the incidents with his wife. As I posted earlier, this is exactly what the Lehigh Township police department should have filed on the intial complaint. Instead, this woman had to go file a private complaint and have a county detective file with a District Magistrate.

Is this what the collusion of police departments has become in the Lehigh Valley?

Is this person still with weapons and on the job in Bethlehem?

There are serious issues of governance and judicial procedure that must be addressed because how this man has been handled currently and in the past.

He will be coddled at the department like he was the last time he had a PFA placed against him. I wonder how many times this happened while he was employed by the NYPD.

Maybe it's time for some administrative leave for this guy until things can be sorted out. It seems that everybody might be better off of he doesn't have his gun and badge for the time being.

Poor excuse, you're never 'stuck' with a spouse.

No child should have to live in this environment. The article makes it sound like it was fairly common for the 10-year-old to call the police for help.

someone needs to do something to this man before an innocent family is lost to violence. I've been there, I know. The abuser will use anything in their power to get what they want. They don't want their abuse publicized. As for the "stuck with a nut case for a wife", you're never stuck, he could have left years ago, why does he stick around??? I know more to this story than most will, I feel for the daughter and Donna.

Why has this guy not been committed ot the hospital? Clearly there are issues and it appears that he is a danger to himself and others. 302 him before someone gets hurt!

Anyone who is the subject of a PFA may not have firearms.

I don't see how he could do his job.

Since this guy is a cop, however, who knows.

They're always treated differently than everyone else.

He is a patient at Muhlenberg. Hopefully he will get some help for himself.

I hate to tell you but the Bethlehem POlice Department does not have jurisdiction over this. Should charges be filed, they might be able to do something from an administrative point but at this point BPD is not the agency that is involved with this matter.

Dennis Mac

A PFA does not automatically require the relinquishment of firearms. It's at the Judges digression.

http://www.mpoetc.state.pa.us/mpotrs/lib/mpot...

Now as we know this is one of the people in blue so the code of the blue probably will hold true and nothing will be done about firearms and the PFA. However now that this person has been committed to the hospital this now gives a history of disorders which under federal law may prevent ownership of firearms.

Really, does anyone want this man as a police officer in any city with a temper like his? He is like a loose cannon ready to go off and hopefully he will get the help he needs and she gets the help she needs. Too many deaths and the signs are all there. Is the police departments in this area blind? Police stick up for Police but how about ones that need help.....get them off the force before someone is dead
