Then you turn around and bash this blog or allowing it to be posted? Which is it? Is this a case of do as I say not as I do? Truth has his (or her) opinion, whats that any of your business? This is a really good family. Yes, I am a friend, and consider myself to a True friend. If you don't like them or agree with them so be it. Surround yourself with people you do like or agree with. Just because "people are talking" or "you heard it from many people" does not make it true. Remember way back in grade school when you would start at one end of the room with a statement and whisper it around the room. Until it ended up at the last kid, the entire thing was distorted. Grammar school teachers were trying to teach us way back then the lack of reliability with gossip. It does not benefit anyone. Most often it hurts and is seldom reflects the REAL truth. Mike has opened his doors, friend or foe for anyone wanting to talk to him regarding the whole truth. I would recommend before anyone posts any additional comments regarding this family or your opinion of their family, first stop in and talk with them. For everyone else, unless you are willing to include your real name and take responsibility for your words it is time to move on.

When will you people start using your real names? How am I supposed to turn away things that people give me when I have no idea about them. I went to Lehigh Valley Hospital thinking I was going there to discuss the upcoming survivorship day that they are holding and that Becky and I are helping with. I had no idea that they were doing what they did. It was extremely nice of them and I appreciated it from the bottom of my heart. Again, emphasizing what Kelly and I have both said... if you are not brave and confident enough to use your real name don't post on here and again feel free to come into the store or call me and I can straighten you out about the whole truth, but I am sure you will not because you just want to keep gossiping and saying whatever you want. If you think I am worried about all the residents and what they say about me you are crazy. The only people I care about what they think about me are my friends, like the Heffleys and family. PLEASE USE YOUR REAL NAMES AND STOP HIDING BEHIND THE FAKE SCREEN NAMES AND LETS TALK IF YOU ARE BRAVE ENOUGH!!!!!

Nascar Simulator Comes to Lehigh Valley Hospital Oh my god, I just heard the Machinski's are using 2 ply toilet tissue. This is absurd, they are spending like crazy. Everyone knows they could be saving money by using single ply. I also heard that they splurged and went to a high end fast food restaurant called McDonalds. They were seen spending for quarter pounders without any regard for price,they could have obviously ordered off the dollar menu and saved. I'll bet you Mike got free fries. Can you imagine the nerve of these people out spending money on food! I can't confirm this one, but I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend that the Machinski's have a 10,136 inch lcd tv in their living room, and I hear they also have one of those video casette recorders that only rich people can afford. Boy these people sure know how to take advantage of the system for their self gratification. And I heard mike also received FREE air for his truck tires once. He is so lucky. Hey laughing, This post is almost as absurd as your's. Maybe if you were'nt so miserable living in your double wide without a life you might be able to find something better to do. You obviously don't know this family, they are beautiful people who do not deserve any of this torment they are receiving. It's people like you who need to get a life, Mike and Becky are active with helping people in similiar situations as theirs, you don't hear about that on these boards. People would rather engage in negative gossip and speculations, hell it's more fun, right? I guess anything Mike does will be under a microscope, shame on him for enjoying life and his family. I can't wait till MY FRIEND beats this thing, but then again he would probably be getting another undeserved gift (that rotten bastard). My post mirrors the absurd and erroneous claims made by many misinformed and ignorant people posting here. It's easy to form a belief based on inaccurate and reckless speculative information. The Machinski's don't deserve to be persecuted by these uncouth and ill-mannered people, they have been through enough already and have a difficult battle ahead of them. People who don't know the reality of the situation should just keep to themselves. In other words, GET A LIFE. Who cares what he receives, it is given by good hearted people who are trying to make Mike and his family's life just a little bit better. The world needs more of these people. You criticized me for putting this individual down when they were doing the exact same thing to Mike. You instead choose to chastise me (a person defending the family) as opposed to someone who is hurting the Machinski's. Mike and Becky.....
I know you read these posts and it saddens me that with everything else you two deal with, you also have to read this crap. As I have said NUMEROUS times on your other site, you should ONLY concern yourself with those of us who stand behind you 100% and who care about you as friends.
I, for one, am grateful for that friendship. I appreciate ALL you have done to help Alyssa raise the money she needed for her People to People trips. The donations to her basket raffles were totally unnecessary, but we are grateful! And just so you know...the number of tickets in those baskets EACH TIME we held a raffle was incredible. Hold onto that thought.
We live in a small town and small town gossip runs rampant, it is a shame. What is more of a shame is that I will not (or most likely will not) be seeing you at Relay for the Survivor Ceremony this year. I understand your wanting to stay away, but as someone who has drawn off Mike's strength in my own battle, I am sorry you won't be there.
Just remember....there's a light at the end of this tunnel and it too shall pass. Remember, not ALL your friends turned their backs.
